In Jan 2023 I started a home renovation. I used a company called “building brothers” and this company contracted “A-Team” to tear out my old HVAC unit and to install a new one. Well “Herchel” (owner) and his team came out to do it. He completed the installation in March and we instantly started with the issues, the temperature would not warm up and the unit wouldn’t go off, so we called them back out. Herchel said, they forgot to add a damper and some wiring, they fixed it. It did the same next week then they came back out, this time he said the lines out by the unit were crossed up (mind you they did the wiring) it did the same next week then they came back out and said a part in the supposed brand new unit that I purchased through them needed to be replaced but it was a manufacturer part so I could get it under warranty, the part came and they replaced it. It’s April now and they have been coming literally every week because the unit didn’t work, so finally I called “Estes” to do a system check. Estes said, they put the vents on backwards and had vent facing the “air intake vent” which means as soon as the air blow it was being sucked back in which is one of the reasons my home wouldn’t warm. I called Herchel and he blamed on having an “new team”. In a few weeks we began with the serious issues now it’s May and it’s warm. lol Guess what? It won’t cool upstairs… he’s coming back every week and can’t figure out what the issue is, so now Herchel has begun to have an attitude with us, dodging phone calls and lying about losing his phone so we started calling from other numbers. SMH…. he had more and more excuses… We ended up calling Estes to find out what was the problem and in addition to their many mistakes they didn’t know that the “Motor on the damper was going out and was causing the flap to malfunctioned” It was now June and I ended up spending more money to another HVAC company to purchase a part and have them install it. Herchel never answered the phone again or fixed the problem. DO NOT USE THEM RUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!! Ps… I have all the proof

Technician Terrance installed a new GOODMAN unit and did not put freon in the unit. I was not aware and the coil burned out due to no freon in the unit. Have contacted Mr. Terrance P. numerous times to address this matter and was told it was my fault. I was also told by the technician it will be an additional $500 for the freon. When I refused to pay since I had already paid in full for a new unit and install the tech advised me not to harass him and he will sue me. All text’s are available to view if needed. Mr Randolph is the best!!!! It took me 4 weeks to find someone to even LOOK at my furnace after a power surge blew it out. He came the same day called and diagnosed the issue, emailed me an invoice for my insurance company, order the parts and repaired the system within 1 week!!!! He is GREAT!!! He is going to be my go-to HVAC maintenence person from now on. I will recommend him to everyone that needs heating and air repair. Mr Randolph has our home nice and toasty after being so cold!!! Thank you so much!!!
