I called this morning about 2 of my units With AC problems, Their professional answer service quickly connected me to Amanda Gaita one Of their qualified technicians. Amanda arrived within the window that she said as a matter fact early and took care of both units. Gave me a very nice message back that everything had been taken care of. McGill AC has always been a competent, affordable and responsive company. They installed a new 5-ton unit in my house 3-years ago. When they didn’t transfer the ionizer from the old unit, they installed a new one at no charge. This season, I changed their 5-wire programmable Honeywell thermostat to a Google Nest thermostat that required 6-wires to be compatible. At their quarterly maintenance, Kevin & Jerome noted the rapid cycling of the compressor, and we were able to run a new cable quickly. I highly recommend them.

Over the summer we lost AC due to a faulty manufacturer leak on my new system. McGill was responsive, professional and timely. They kept our system running my returning several times to recharge the system until the parts showed up. The best service I have had in South Florida.

Steven came to our apartment and was excellent in telling me what we needed to replace our old AC unit. He was very knowledgeable discussed pros/cons of the replacement. The service was scheduled for 4 days later and the team was on time and done in half a day. I would definitely recommend this company as they were the best I have ever dealt with.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review. We have been a customer of Robert R. McGill for many years. Last year they shared with us that our AC is on its last leg. The end of last month FPL had multi power surges which added to the demise of our slow dying AC unit. We reached out to McGill about our issues. They sent out Steven to speak to us about purchasing a new AC Unit. He listened to our concerns and requirements of what we needed and wanted in our new ac unit. He took the time to go over our unit, duck work and explained many other details we were not aware of. He answered all our questions and more. Within in 72hours of ordering our unit it was installed by an amazing crew on one of the hottest days. With temps in the high 90’s the crew was at our home 8am and worked till the job was done. They were very professional. We are very thankful for the great service. We are enjoying our new cool AC. The Fletcher Family

IGNORE EVERYTHING I SAID. Since that time – and a second installation that still does not work 6 months later, I have learned that McGill is run by three people and the one on the front line of customer service is terrible. He should never speak to anyone besides himself because he is an arrogant representative who tells customers like me that its my fault – even though they did the installation. I hate McGill (except the fron line people answering the phones). Even the poor technicians are caught up in not being able to really help – only what the boss mans says they can do. The boss man does not want to spend any money on service. It’s clear their business is installations. But even when an installation goes bad – like mine – they don’t accept any responsibility. STAY AWAY FROM MCGILL. This is a horrible organization. They replaced my heat pump A/C system and every part of the project was handled very well. From pre-sales consulting making sure I was aware of all my options, to a professional installation team who worked hard to get everything set up within a few hours. I am very pleased with this company and will continue to use them for furnace maintenance as well. I have a photo which will clearly show their incompetence but will give them 24 hours to contact me. Otherwise, it will be on display. Horrible service organization. Mean people. Rude, hurtful and challenging. They always expect it to be the customer issue not theirs. I hate this company.

If there was a 6th star I would have given it. McGill is not just technically superior and delivers great service at a good price. They help you solve your problem even if it’s something other than your unit. They went above and beyond on multiple occasions for me and I will never use anyone else.
