I finally decided to replace my 32-year-old HVAC system. David came out to see me and it was very educational and professional. There are many laws that affect the HVAC industry in California that I was unaware of. David set me up with a complete 3 ton Lennox system for a very reasonable price. Installation took place on July 2nd. Finished in one day. Clean and professional. I live in a townhome development that has the cooling unit sitting out front so I was able to compare the quality of that part of the system install to others. You can clearly see the difference in the install quality. Very nicely done. The attic portion of the HVAC system was done with the same quality and professional installation. And for the past two weeks I’ve been comparing electricity usage on my PG&E account and have seen a big drop electricity usage with a new system. Couldn’t be happier. Look no further than Arts Heating & Cooling.

Updated 2024: I had another great experience with Art’s Heating and Cooling this year. Our A/C stopped working in the middle of a heatwave and Art’s responded right away. After examining the machine, David gave us our options and his recommendation. Due to how old our A/C was, we moved forward with a new unit and have been really happy with it. It’s a big purchase and David explained which models would best suit our needs and be compatible with our furnace. The installation crew was on time, polite, professional, and finished by the early afternoon. Soon after the installation, I received a follow up call to make sure I was happy with how things were working and if I had any questions. I really like the way this company values its customers and highly recommend them.

Gave an immediate appointment for same day service for HVAC on a very hot day. Technician arrived at appointment time, provided enough notice that he is on his way. Fixed the capacitor issue within 20 minutes.. confirmed cooling and provided very good service, explaining how to confirm the issue and what the fix is.

It is great to have such an efficient and professional HVAC team in Tri-Valley. Our unit was broken down during long weekend. Art’s Heating and Cooling give us the earliest appointment with good follow-up reminders. Dave, the owner, is nice and professional. The unit is fixed before next excessive heat warning.

The team members are fantastic. They had our AC and heater system installed in one day and luckily it was the day before the temperature climbed to 110F! The installing technicians, Fernando and José, worked almost nonstop and were professional, articulate, knowledgeable and accommodating. David returned for a followup to make sure everything was satisfactory. The company responded to our questions the same day. I know it sounds gushing, but we’re really glad that we chose this company based on our neighbors’ experiences and business rating web sites.

Cannot recommend this company enough! We have had nothing but fantastic experiences with David. Not only did he provide great advice around what AC units to install (4 years ago now), he has also been super responsive and helpful anytime we’re in a pinch and need our AC to get serviced. He goes above and beyond to try and fit us in his schedule, and is honest and trustworthy. Grateful to have found this company, especially for weeks like this one that will be in the triple digits!

Please READ Arts heating & Air saved me from replacing my AC system which I was told to do the day before by another company. Not only did Arts save me a lot of money 10k to be exact but they were so friendly and the tech David shared some helpful tips while at my home. I might need a new system at some point but not for another 10 years. Thanks !

An excellent, local small business that does everything right. Friendly and helpful on the phone, efficient at making the appointment, good follow-up reminders, and really nice and skilful technicians who respect your home, explain the options, and do the work efficiently and competently. I am happy I found this Pleasanton company to take care of our HVAC needs and I highly recommend them!

Call Mark. No, really…. Call Mark. Gress Heating and Air is a gem of a company. All 5 star reviews?!? Most people don’t get that much love from their own family but Mark and his team sure earned it at my house. We had a quote from one of the larger companies on a job and I called Mark for a second opinion after he was highly recommended by two of my neighbors. Mark came by in the next couple of days, evaluated our situation, pointed out a few things to think about but not in a salesy way…. In an amazing service way. His quote was significantly better than the big boys. A few unforeseen and unforeseeable challenges came along but Mark was eager for the challenge. As he tackled our project it was crystal clear that Mark loves his job, takes enormous pride in his work and is focused on truly taking care of his clients. Now, go call him. You’re wasting time.
