Russ did a great job of installing a new HVAC system and water heater in our home in 2020. He promptly responded to our emergency call during a 105F afternoon this past Friday to replace a defective capacitor in our condenser unit. Our home was at 84F inside at the time and he saved us from a long weekend, or longer, of unbearable living conditions.

Russ is a god send. My AC unit went out and I was scrambling to find someone to fix my system. He was quick, fast and fit me in right before a massive heat wave. He communicated the whole time and was here when he scheduled. I will definitely be hiring him for any maintenance and work moving forward.

So thankful for Russ! Honest, trustworthy and reliable with very quick service. I wanted a true read on a 10-15 year old system that we were being lead to believe by other less trustworthy HVAC contractors needed replacement. It’s rare to come across intelligence and hard work in a single person-Russ embodies both. Two projects- one whole house heat pump/AC/ duct installation and one small repair for my 93 year-old mother who was worried he worked too hard -both projects receiving the same treatment and attention and completion without complaint or added charges. Ponder that a minute if you’ve ever hired anyone . Retired from a career in the trades I like my money to go to the tradesman/ craftsman always. I can’t recommend Russ and RM Mechanical more highly!

I wanted a new Bradford-White heat pump water heater installed in my home. These units are not common, and require professional installation. Rus and his crew did a difficult installation (due to limited space) in only one day and it turned out beautifully. They were creative and adaptable to our wishes. Excellent communication and workmanship. Contractor is very responsive and easy to work with. We had ducting, insulation, and electrical work done and it went smoothly. Crews took care to protect furniture etc from damage and limit mess. At the end of each day they cleaned up so well it really helped minimize disruption during the project. Invoice and payment options are so convenient as well. Overall satisfied and would recommend this business.
