I contacted them in the first few days of July, was given an appointment for July 12th. I requested a morning appointment because I have 2 very young kids and I just felt it would be better all done in the morning. I was told their technicians start their day by 8.30am and someone should call me around 30 minutes before that. The evening prior to my appointment I got a message at round 6.30-7pm reminding me of the next days appt. That day waited till 9.30am and then messaged and called them. I get a text saying the appt has been cancelled. I asked to be called back and omg the lady. who called back had such an attitude. So much so I told her you are not even apologetic about making me wait for so long but are just being rude without even bothering to explain much except saying “the technician is not well and so they cancelled” I told her if your technician is not well and calls out in the morning, you see who all he has to visit and contact those people because you are making them wait right? …. why am I following up and checking as to why is your tech a no show? To that She says a curt “we will contact you next week to see if we can reschedule” and that’s it. Hangs up. I sent a message again saying this was not an apology but No one ever got back to me and course no one ever called me to reschedule the appointment. She should be fired. The way she spoke to me, it felt like I was the one at fault to wait 1.5 hours that morning because I was unaware they had cancelled my appt. Terrible. 0 stars if possible. Totally unprofessional.

It was Sunday evening, 90°+ outside and our air conditioner stopped working. The temperature climbed to 89° inside. I called Barker Heating & Cooling and they put me on the schedule for first thing Monday morning for a callback to schedule an onsite contact. I received a call early Monday and they added me to their schedule that same day. Barker Heating followed up with a text listing my technician’s photo,name (Tajinder) and message stating he will contact me directly. Tajinder texted me with a time-frame and arrived on-time, as promised. He was beyond friendly and helpful. He listened to my concerns/issues and troubleshooted my system. He completed his diagnosis and ordered the needed part(s). When the ordered part(s) came in, he returned as promised and finished the necessary repairs. He advised me what to keep an eye on and assured me Barker Heating & Cooling will respond to any future issues that come up. 7-17-2024 Update for current semi-annual service call Stephanie was great! She kept us apprised of her anticipated arrival following her last customer’s service call. She arrived right on time. Inquired if there were any problems we noticed regarding performance and output temperature comfort. She got straight to work running a system check making notes of the performance at each step of her analysis. She added additional Freon to the correct to match the temperature needs for the season. She ran the Freon through the system, checked outputs again and when satisfied, replaced the furnace filter I had at the ready. She made her notes and finalized her report and was on her way. She had serviced our system once before. She is always honest, professional, thorough and quickly completes the service call.

Dejuan H. From Barker Heating and Cooling was very knowledgeable about the situation, he was very professional with his work and explained to us what needed to be done. And from the beginning communicated with me letting me know of his arrival time and his delay but very professional 👌 about it. Company has great employee and he represents his company with high standards that you hardly see now a days with employees.

Stephanie was great. She called ahead to let us know her eta, she spent hours for a thorough maintenance, she made recommendations on future repairs and the cost, she was so professional and explained things simply and factually. Thanks Stephanie!
