poor customer service once they take your money. My ceiling was damaged during an install and I havent received any information regarding scheduling a repair, really sucks after spending $20k brand new unit. I would be very cautious of their fake customer service, specifically the salesperson Joel. He will leave you on read, so buyers beware. Not sure if his manager Boston is aware or condones the behavior. Also surprised Costco is okay partnering with a company that promotes this behavior but you cant be too sure these days.

I had written a very bad and longer review in details and names out of anger because of the service manager but I’ll shorten it to this. I even ran out of space on here and edited it several times to try to fit everything. I truly hate making anyone look bad but Costco has these guys for Costco’s hvac company and Costco should really find someone else. While shopping at costco I got a brochure for hvac and called. These guys came and the salesman will tell you that your current system is no good and anything else to convince you to buy a new system. Don’t fall for it please. Get different quotes from different companies. Don’t make the same mistake I did. The install crew and service technicians are all knowledgeable and very polite but that’s the only nice thing about this place. Everything this place sells is Extremely overpriced. The NASA filtration system the salesman sold us sells for 9% on a online retailer. This is important to know to see how much they mark up prices to gain profit. Almost anyone can install it too. He’s a salesman, he’ll say whatever it takes to make you believe. Brent and other hvac companies told me monarch had a previous name but changed it because of a horrible reputation. They need a service manager that returns calls instead of ignoring them to avoid issues that can be easily resolved and that doesn’t argue with customers while blaming anything and everything but the hvac. The only way I finally got called back after over a week of calling these guys is when I called Costco to complain and the next morning I finally got my call returned. Thank you Costco. I have a paid membership with these guys but from now on I’m going to pay a different company to service my new overpriced hvac system. I spoke with lenox directly and they told me the only way to void my warranty is to work on the system myself or not have it serviced at least once a year and I can use any licensed company I desire. I thought i was stuck with these guys. New update. I had another company come and clean my evap coil since that’s what started this whole issue and the service manager at monarch was just blaming everything but the system. Now I realize even the tech that told me that my evap coil was really dirty just lied to me!!!! The new tech told me it was hardly dirty and since it had insulation from my attic, that shows this was just caused by when system was opened up during the install since my original 18″ flexible duct was re-used even though the salesman told us it would be replaced. Evap coil cleaning with these guys almost $500. New company $60 It’s been a couple years since I had these extremely overpriced thieves install my overpriced hvac and I can’t believe the rating they have still. I’m also surprised that the owner hasn’t responded to my review. Shows how much they care huh…..

We have a lot of problems with Monarch. They are polite and the service professionals are always respectful. However, their prices are always very high, they took our thermostat for repair and never returned it, when they installed our unit they messed up and it leaked through the roof and we had to have a large section of ceiling replaced from water leaking in from the unit and rain. I tried to stay with them because we are supposed to have a warranty but they did not change the price quote after I reminded them to take that in to account. It feels like a shady mechanic situation.

Our AC went out over the weekend and it was 110 plus everyday and the house got up to 90 at the hottest and would only cool down to 84 by 6am. My wife and I had to stay at a hotel to cool down 1 night and stay at a friends for another. Brian was the technician that came out to repair my ac and found the issue fairly quickly but unfortunately did not have the part until the next day but understood and was fixed the next morning and took no time for the ac to be working great again. Thanks Brian

We are 100% satisfied with the installation of our new AC by Monarch. Our old unit broke down in a heat wave, and Monarch was able to install a replacement within a couple of days. Their service under the circumstances (and on a holiday weekend no less) was amazing. Everything about the installation and service was completely professional, and they performed additional services to make sure our entire system would work as efficiently as possible. We highly recommend Monarch to anyone in need of professional and fast AC repair or replacement.

Called them explained my situation being an emergency due to my father’s age and they made an appointment for the next day even though they didn’t have availability. I’m very grateful. Also David was fast and professional as my ac tech.
