Scott Bridge Company, Inc. 4 months agoThe worst place to work for. Toxic work environment. They promote lazy workers and then abuse their hard workers. They also say “family first” but yet willing to let you go if you actually have to miss a day of work to take care of yourself or family. DO NOT WORK HERE unless you want to be mistreated.

Romanoff Renovations 2 years agoI purchase carpet from The Home Depot in Montgomery Al on Nov 6, 2021 to carpet my greatroom, all 3 bedrooms and a hallway. I was advised by the Home Depot the carpet should be in the warehouse within 2 weeks and be installed by Thanksgiving. They contract with Romanoff Renovations to install the carpet. Got an email right away from Romanoff explaining the process. They advised I would get a phone call from them to set up the earliest installation date. Never happened. Romanoff sent me emails with video explaining how to prepare my home for the installation, had to removed all knickknacks, mirrors and pictures from the wall, all bedding from the beds, empty drawers, disconnect all electronics, etc, in essence empty out everything. They charged to dissemble and resemble the beds. As I said never received phone call setting up installation date. Thanksgiving came and went. After the 1st of December I called Romanoff to see if my carpet had been received. The person answering the phone said then carpet was there and gave the impression it had been there for a while. The earliest date for installation would be 12/10/2021. I explained not a good date for me because I wanted to decorate for Christmas so we set the date for Friday, January 7, 2022, arrival time between 8a & 11a. My house was topsy turvy, everything packed in my kitchen, dining room and both bathrooms. On Thursday, January 6th, I received an email that “tomorrow is installation day” and on the morning of Friday, January 7th I received 2 emails to advise the installer would be at my residence between 8a & 11a. I’m ready. At about 8:15 [ receive a call from Romanoff that the installer would not be coming, he is taking the day off because he had worked late the day before “finishing up a job” and we could reschedule for a date the middle of February. NOT HAPPENING! I called The Home Depot and mainly got “I understand why you are upset, we are sorry but cannot do anything because we have a contract with Romanoff and have no recourse”. Well I have a recourse, I cancelled my order and went to a reputable locally owned flooring dealer in Montgomery. Taking 3 days to get the carpet from the manufacturer and will be installed the following day. Should have done this to start with. Better Business Bureau will be getting a call on Monday.

Pythoge Custom Homes 3 weeks agoI had such a wonderful experience working with Pythoge for my home renovation. They stuck to the timeline and budget discussed at the beginning, and I was always informed of any changes/issues in cost that arose during the process. I have absolutely zero complaints and would absolutely use them again for more work on my home.
