Dishonest and shady company. After we agreed to the work and paid the deposit, we were informed that we were responsible for hiring a contractor to do additional work (at our expense) before they would even apply for permits. This information had not been communicated to us previously. It was not mentioned in any way in the quote they provided. Somehow, it only came up after we had paid the deposit to them, and missed out on time-based discounts their competitors offered. Save your time and money and avoid Bob’s. Work with an HONEST company that actually tells the customer what is expected, instead of shoehorning in additional costs after you’ve paid. Edit: The part you quote refers to repairs and altercations, such as finishings. That is not the same thing as work to be done before you actually do anything, and which you are conditioning your performance on.

I’ve worked at Bob’s for nearly 18 years and have loved it the whole time. My parents needed a new heat pump system and chose to go through Bob’s. They were completely pleased with the service. If you need a company that will take responsibility and step up to the plate with all they install, Bob’s is definitely the company you need. Thank you Bob’s for giving me 18 great years of employment with many more to come.

Bob’s Heating & Air Conditioning was a stellar experience from start to finish. It was by far the best balance between price, equipment, warranty and service! Taran and his team were punctual, professional, clean and efficient. They even went above and beyond, by informing us of an unrelated issue we had in our crawl space. Our new furnace, water heater and heat pump that they recommend have solved all the issues we were having and have so many more perks than we anticipated. Even the inspectors said that Bob’s did us good and the work was immaculate! Don’t waste your time with endless bids and sales tactics, just call Bob’s!

We have been working with Bob’s since we built our house nearly 30 years ago. Several years ago, we got a heat pump installed. It seemed to have annual repairs, and Bob’s did a fine job at that, but then last year, the main board failed, and it was time to replace it. We got a bid from Bob’s, but they no longer carried that manufacturer’s products, so we got competitive bids. Bob’s bid turned out to be competitive, but one of the other technicians checked the manual and advised us that the size of the inbound pipes was too small per the manufacturer’s recommendations. It turned out that the problems we had faced (nearly annual repairs) resulted from this installation error – apparently, all other units use a different size than the unit installed, so it was not caught until this other tech reviewed it. We submitted the other tech’s info to Bob’s and asked them what they would do. Well, they agreed that they installed it improperly and REPLACED the unit WITHOUT cost to us! It was well out of warranty, but Bob’s honored the quality of their installation and replaced the unit. While it took some time to get the right unit working properly, they installed two units before getting one that worked 100% of the time! All of this was done at no cost to us. Bob’s and their represented manufacturers lost the cost of a new unit (2) and dozens of hours of labor. They honored their service and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Today, when the system’s fuse failed, they came out right away, replaced the fuse, tested the system, and did this without charge to us. It is rare for a manufacturer and service company to stand behind their work beyond the warranty dates, but Bob’s did, and we cannot recommend them enough. Good job, Bob’s, you are an inspiration to customer service beyond the warranty requirements!
