RIKB Design Build 9 months agoErika and team did an amazing job with our kitchen and office project. The timeline was detailed (we even got a binder with all the design details), you get one project manager who is on site daily to coordinate everything (and every sub contractor was friendly and professional where even if I was home alone, I was not concerned), the quality of work and attention to detail is also unmatched (one of our cabinet doors arrived slightly damaged and RIKB ordered a replacement right away). Although slightly expensive, you are paying for dependable, quality work and a seamless customer service experience.

Rhode Island Renovations, LLC a week agoGutted our entire home and then screwed- Anyone considering using this ‘team’ do your homework- multiple lawsuits & complaints against them per RI Contractors Board. Jon lost his Contractors license because of multiple violations and lawsuits and the company is now registered under the his wife’s name- This is the way they got around making things right for the unfortunate clients who have outstanding grievances whilst continuing to scam future clients. she claims to be an interior design professional- she has no credentials whatsoever and referred me to the Houzz app. Worst experience EVER! I was bullied and threatened by this man in my own home. Jon is not legally meant to be on your property unless his wife who they are now registered under is on the property at the same time per RI Registration Board. Everything they took out of my house, the hardwood cabinets from the existing kitchen, all baths and vanities, woodwork, bookcase doors and specialty top trim were not put in the dumpster but instead, kept by them. When I checked it was practically empty. Even if we wanted to put it back together we could not. I will never forget his threatening manner and unprofessional behavior towards me. This is a fair and accurate review of what I personally experienced. For your own protection, call the registration board to verify this information and get the real scoop on how they operate. They were desperate for cash and showed me a bounced check for $20,000 from another client, this was the same amount they wanted upfront from me! I paid over $8,000 to have my house ruined and unlivable. Why any contractor would do this without having replacements in place is beyond my logic. I can only offer this as a PSA to anyone considering going down that road..
