This was the second time we used Reinhart Electric. Both times the technicians were very courteous and quick to respond. They were able to solve our problems very quickly and at a reasonable price. I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

I don’t know if these guys do good work because after contacting them online and via email for some bids, I never received any reply. I was excited to get them out for bids given several people on Nextdoor had recommended them. I think I dodged one here. The lack of response is probably an indication of how poorly my project may have gone.

Dave and his son showed after I had installed some new outlets and I could not figure out why my hall and bathroom lights would not turn on. Dave charged me $340/hr for a total of $1200. For 3hrs in my home, Dave and his son said they could not find the problem. They began taking apart outlets in the master bedroom and the smoke detector in the hallway. These items had nothing to do with the work I had performed. I had only done work in the two spare bedrooms. Once I started to become annoyed, he suddenly said he found the problem of a broken wire at the first outlet that I had shown him that I replaced. He fixed it. The lights worked in the hallway and we thought all was good. He charged me $340/hr plus $20 for gas. That evening I go into the master bath and the lights don’t work. I contact Dave and let him know. He says he can come back out. I try to confirm that I will not be charged again and he will not confirm that. So I tell him I do not want him out. I have another electrician out , who finds the problem in less than 15 minutes. It was an outlet in the master bedroom that his son had replaced.

For weeks, had a perplexing electrical problem in one room. Reinhart Electric (Travis) identified the problem right away – – shoddy outlets and switches. Very pleased. Now I have TV, lights and an electrician I can recommend!

I called to ask for a quote to check out my house because half the house didn’t have power and it was very odd. Dave called back same day and said he wouldn’t be able to check it out before I fly out of town, but provided recommendations to call my power company with what he thought was the potential issue. It turns out he was right! I really appreciate his help even though I hadn’t actually booked his services – he went out of his way to help me regardless. In the future, I would definitely go to him again. He genuinely cares! 😀

Please do not contact Reinhart Electric & Service regarding any electrical issues you are having. It is worth it to pay more to a professional electrical service than contacting this dishonest company. Also, we are going to report this dishonest company to BBB and sue them in small claims court. This case is pending. I hope someone can remove this insane business from our neighborhood. A technician came to our house for less than 30 minutes to fix a wiring issue. Because he couldn’t find the problem and he needed to leave, he told me he would return in a day or two. Eleven days later he contacted me because he was taking care of more important customer (more money). I refused to let him to come back and told them I would pay for a half-hour of services that he spent at our house. His boss (the owner) Dave called me, threating me that if I didn’t pay him the full amount of the estimate, he would come to our house, kick the door down, and grab and shake me until I pay him everything I owe. We received a bill from Laurie B, the account manager, for 2 hours of services and parts that the tech supposedly spent at our house. We were forced to pay the bill for the services that we did not receive because Reinhart Electric & Service was going to put a lien on our house. The wiring problem hasn’t been fixed and we are planning to contact a professional electric service to repair our wiring.
