We purchased a home that had the electrical work done by Lords Electric. After we moved in, we had an issue with one of the breakers keep tripping. Call them on Sunday afternoon and they send someone first thing the next morning to fix our problem straight away! The electrician shown us what the problem was and repaired it without charge as per their warranty.

Chris was recommended to me by my lumber supplier who had a friend named Keith who used him and liked him. I emailed Chris of Lords Electrical my plans per his request in Oct. 2019; I sent 4 follow-up emails through 1/30/20, he would respond in promising to provide bid-then crickets again. Yesterday I sent a curt email to him (after my call went to voicemail) detailing my frustration with chasing him for almost 3 months for a bid-and asked “what gives” in my text. Chris called back immediately, apologized and asked that the plans be emailed again- which I did. No acknowledgement of receipt, no eta for bid….I texted him today asking if he received the plans yesterday..he texted me back saying he was busy in a pre-construction conference but would get back to me shortly. That was at 7:59 am—it is now almost noon. I find this behavior inconsiderate and a big waste of my time, and I don’t appreciate it. Moving on.

I had a house built by a builder, which hired Lords to do the electrical part. During the whole process Chris was very busy, and making the corrections pointed out by the inspector took forever. Towards the end I lost more than 3 weeks just because Chris and the builder could not agree on a correction to be made (about $200-$300). I almost missed the already too late deadlines (my construction loan was near its expiration date). One 3-way switch has not been properly wired and was short-circuiting, which I discovered after the house was finished. Since it’s a very big house, Chris recommended I pay him extra for adding 3 extra bathroom circuits. I said OK, and paid him as soon as I got the invoice. Only 2 of the 3 circuits have been installed. It is now more than 6 months since I am being told that I will be refunded, with no actual refund. I called Chris repeatedly, and he initially claimed that I did not pay my builder, which is a big lie (if that was the case I would have a lien on the house from day 1). Then he just blocked my phone number completely so I cannot call him. I was able to call him from my wife’s phone and Chris said he’ll send me the refund. Then he just blocked my wife’s number too. Long story short – he seems to be all about the money. Don’t hire this guy. He’ll start the work then just delay it by doing some other projects. You’ll get lots of promises until you pay him, then good luck getting the stuff done in time. No wonder his only review on Google so far is from someone who has the same last name – I guess no real customer would leave a good review huh ?
