The 4 instead of 5 review is strictly because of pricing. Our home was built in 2016 – is ludicrous to charge $300+ for a tripped circuit breakers. c’est la vie. I am removing the pricing picture of In-House electric services since the owner reached out to me so as not to help the competition. I will do so. In the future, It would help your future customers immensely that instead of charging $300+ for a tripped breaker you charge the visit fee $69. That would be fair. Excellent service but beware: they are EXPENSIVE! My problem was simple: our washing machine tripped the circuit breaker. Even though I like to research these issues, I did not realize that to reset the washing machine breaker, I had to move it all the way right and then left. That was it!!! Granted Trace did check the circuits etc., but really, nothing to fix! The first quote was $501 (see level 1 pricing attached) which included a show-up fee of $69 (not waived with repair). At least Trace lowered the total fee to $317 – still – hard to swallow because nothing was wrong. My fault of course…

It’s a shame 5 stars is the highest rating because In-House Electrical Services deserves a 100! I was in a panic because piped beneath my house sprung leaks, flooding my bathroom. The plumber assigned to me by my insurance companyI, told me there was an electrical conduit near the pipes that was covered by water and wouldn’t attempt repairs for “safety reasons”. I don’t know why he didn’t just cut the power, but he said until an electrician resolved the issue, he would not attempt repairs. The insurance company agreed. In a panic, thinking a spark or something else could start a fire, I chose In-House Electrical from a number of companies online. Turns out, I made a brilliant decision! Heather asnwered the phone, listened patiently to my panicd explaination and, even though they were very busy, set me up with an appointment the next morning. Electrician Tim arrived earlier than expected, explained what he was going to do and got to work. It turned out the plumber was incorrect. The conduit was properly installed, insulated, rated to be used in damp or water- covered areas and was totally up to code. There was NO hazard or safety issue. I guess that’s why plumbers aren’t electricians! I did what I had to do to satisfy the insurance company to move forward with the plumbing repairs. In-House Electric exceeded my expectations because they genuinely cared, were prompt and couretous, were exceptionally professional, from receptionist to electrician and displayed an attitude of “It’s not about how much money I can make off this customer, rather “How can I serve this customers’ needs”. If you hire them, you will NOT be disappointred. Thank you!
