Incredibly happy we used TruTec Electric for our home! We were replacing our homes 4″ puck lights to new Govee lights. We were hesitant to do the upgrades ourselves due to the installation required. Their customer service team was great and scheduled a walkthrough the next day. Caleb was incredibly nice and knowledgeable and did a full walkthrough to check out our homes electric work (built in 1960s and renovated in 2022). I was appreciative that this was not a sales tactic to find more work, but an honest review. We settled on replacing 24 of our lights, adding an EV outlet in the garage, and running power to our doorbell camera. Expect to pay a premium, but peace of mind with their quality of craftsman ship and warranties are well worth it to ensure a massive financial investment like a home is safe. Bon was out the following day for install. He was super nice, great with our pup, and walked my partner and I through the entire process. He found that the original lights were not installed correctly and updated all of our lights wiring to ensure their wasn’t a fire risk in the future. He also noticed that our dryer outlet was not installed correctly (done during the remodel) and promptly changed it out for us without incurring additional costs. TruTec is our new go to in Austin. Please consider them for your needs – you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much!!!

If you have an older house and need to get the electrical components up to code, call these guys! They did a fantastic job and went above and beyond with some other requests that were a nice to have but not a need to have which was great! Highly recommend you give them a shot. They got our house all up to code and no more electrical issues.

Would like to share the fantastic experience I recently had with TruTec Electric. They offered fast reliable service. Caleb in sales was very knowledgeable about what I needed in my home regarding new fuses and an entire house surge protector. Julio and Nikolai who came to do the work were Very knowledgeable and professional performing the job. On arrival, they explained exactly what the job entailed and keep me posted on the progress. Cleaned up afterwards and even offered to change the burnt out high ceiling light bulbs. Highly recommend this company for your electrical work.

USE THEM!!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about TruTech Electric! Bon and his team were fantastic to work with! I had an issue with power outage in our kitchen and they were the only company that could come out same day to look at it! Bon was so professional and pleasant! Great people skills and truly just a pleasure to work with (most seem like they hate their jobs and your issues are a burden). He got us fixed away and assured us our home was safe until we were able to schedule the full rework we wanted done after our out of town trip. Upon returning, Bon came out with Isaiah and Joey to go over the job am make sure everyone was on the same page and answer any questions. Joey and Isaiah too we so pleasant to work with and did a wonderful job on the work! They did such a clean job and made all additions look clean and neat. They took amazing care of us and kept us in the loop the whole way. Without a doubt will be using them again! Thank you guys!!
