It appears that the reputation of this company is well deserved. They were assigned by First American Home Warranty (that should be your first clue). I was contacted by Kristy regarding a time for them to come out the next day. I was very clear that the contractor had to be done and out by 2p since I had to go to work. I received a text that the contractor would be here between 9-12. I understand that appointments can run long. If that happens, you call or text and keep the customer advised. It is now 2pm. I have not heard anything from anyone. I wasted an entire day waiting for them to show up and they did not. I do not give second chances. If you show such disrespect, I have no interest in doing business with you.

One of the worst businesses I’ve ever had to dealt with. They were supposed to come replace our smoke detectors. Scheduled to come out on a Wednesday, then they rescheduled for Monday saying the technician was sick. Later technician very unprofessionally talked to me and said I have to do this on Saturday instead of Monday because they no longer service this area from Monday. How unprofessional it is to decide in the middle of a WO they wouldn’t service this area while it was them who rescheduled it in the first place? Avoid them at all costs

I made an appt through First American Home Warranty for installation of a new outdoor outlet. i was unaware that I would be charged a service fee as the contractor who came out stated that installing a new outlet was not covered in my warranty. He said he would report back that I was unaware and that I shouldn’t be charged anything. First American said the report they received shows that a diagnostic was performed and that was definitely not the case. Now I have a $75 service fee that I have to supposedly pay even though the contractor did nothing.

I recently had a similar unfavorable experience. I will agree with previous reviews, it is extremely difficult to reach someone at the office and they won’t return messages. My technician cancelled by appointment through email at the time he was supposed to be at my house. He didn’t attempt to call me, worse yet he didn’t even attempt to show up at my house. Then the company lied to my warranty company, telling them they tried to reach me by phone and text several times without me replying. Total waste of my and my wife’s time taking time away from our busy work schedule to be waiting for the technician. I will be sure never to use this company in the future.

Caused me problems by not showing or communicating. Everything was fine, they confirmed appointment then day before confirmed a 2 hour window. Day of never showed, never communicated, never answered phone, never returned the message i left asking if they were still coming. This caused me a little extra hardship because I’m a disabled vet and have daily schedule and therapy i was pulled away from as i waited all day hoping theyd come so i didnt have to interfere with a different day.

I made an appointment through my home warranty and they chose this company to do the work. I was very skeptical after reading the negative reviews but DFW Electrical Service provided great service. They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The electrician was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our technician never showed up, and no one is returning our phone calls. We scheduled service through our home warranty and was given a day and two hour time frame for a technician to come to our our home. Not only did no one show up, no one called to cancel or reschedule and apparently no one works at their office to answer the phone. Highly dissatisfied. I will never use this company or refer any business their way.
