Contracted with Colonial in July and paid a hefty 50% deposit. Did not hear from them until mid September when I reached out asking what was going on with permits. cause I was told 6-8 weeks. They did not submit the permit for 2 months after my deposit, and apparently this was due to lack of OSHA certifications. The rep that I signed the deal with no longer works there, and I have not received a single communication from them. Spoke to someone on the phone asking for a new point of contact, she guaranteed someone would email and reach out, and have yet to heard from them for weeks. It has been 4 months trying to understand what is going on, and I still don’t know. I am hopeful the workmanship and quality of the product will be great based on other reviews, but take your business elsewhere.

The installers showed up on time and the installation went well. Installers were very professional and thoroughly explained the operation of the generator and mobile app. After installation, they tested the generator to ensure it was working properly. The crew did a great job! I highly recommend Colonial Generators.

Colonial installed my Generac generator in July, 2018 and gave me a 5 year service contract. Shortly afterwards, they discontinued their operation in Florida. Thankfully, they arranged for a good local company to service their customers and to pay for the services as long as the contracts are in force. Thank you Colonial.
