Recently had Gordon’s out to service the HVAC AC unit by recommendation of my wife’s grandma. The guy that came out was nice enough, replaced the capacitor, washed the coils, and said we’d probably have to replace it in the next few years (we recently purchased our home, the previous owner was an elderly woman that had allowed the house to fall into some state of disarray, likely due to being unable to keep up with it anymore) as it had been installed in the 90s, but that it was good to go. I got to use it all of twice, just about a week after it was serviced it was no longer turning on. I had to pay a 250$ dispatch fee plus 150$ per hour for a Pendleton electric tech to come out and ACTUALLY fix it on a hot Sunday when we noticed it wouldn’t run. The tech that came out said he couldn’t believe we were told it was fine besides the capacitor being replaced, coils washed, and potentially needing a new unit in the next few years as there was all kinds of electrical problems with it, including a blown fuse and burnt wiring. What’s worse is I now have to pay almost 500$ for the work that actually got it working, and have an over 100$ bill from Gordon’s for effectively just replacing a capacitor and washing the coils, since that’s effectively all that was done and none of the other problems were addressed. Absolutely ridiculous.

Extremely rude and unprofessional electrical contractor. When communicating with others, they react like 5 year olds with temper tantrums and burn bridges as fast as possible. They act like they are the biggest electrical contractor in the country, but in reality they are insignificant. Don’t waste your time or money with these jokers.

I had a circuit breaker getting hot and gave them a call. I was told I would get a call back after confirming with the electrician and their schedule. Less than 5 minutes go by and I am told he will be here within the hour. He was here in less than 15. The service he provided was amazing, to say the least. He was friendly and informative. He was quick and efficient. The hot water heater needed a larger fuse and even explained the math to me, which I promptly forgot. =) I will happily call and use their service again.

Have had a heating unit installed and electrical done and each time they were prompt and had reasonable rates. They do good work.

I would recommend buying elsewhere. After purchasing through the online store and even paying shipping, money came out of my account… they contact me to tell me they won’t send what I purchased without paying another 470$ in shipping. This was on a 200 something dollar order and 60$ shipping. Nothing but a huge waist of time and very unprofessional.

Fantastic! Knowledgeable and professional, with great communication from the both office for scheduling, and the guy who came to do the original estimate. I had a couple of fans (stove hood and bathroom) replaced and the work was great, plus the electrician cleaned very respectfully as he went. Highly recommended.
