High Country Electric installed landscape floodlights on our new home that said right on the lights “horizontal use only.” The lights were supposed to be uplights for the trees. The lights failed within three months. They wanted us to buy new lights AND pay for labor when they should have, at the very least, only charged me the difference in cost between the wrong lights they put in and the new.

I built a $360,000 custom home less than 2 years ago. My builder used High Country Electric. We upgraded quite a few electrical items including outside under the eve Christmas Light Outlets. We used them last Christmas for 30 days and everything worked fine. We purchased all new led Christmas lights and had them professionally hung and taken down. This year we had the same company hang our lights and the Christmas outlets did not work. We checked the GFI’s and Breaker Box and can’t get the outlets to work. I called High Country Electric and was advised I was out of my 1 year warranty. We only used the outlets for 30 days. You have got to be kidding me. They did not even offer to come out and take a look to see if it is a simple fix. They will not stand behind their product or labor because we are out of warranty. I had the Christmas outlets in my last home and used them for 12 Christmas’s without an issue. So long story short we spent a heck of a lot of money on the outlets for 30 days use. I will not recommend High Country Electric until they resolve this issue.

Had a short list of items I needed help with, HCE was able to come out the very next day and took care of everything in under an hour. They were extremely friendly and efficient, even taking time to talk to my son and I. Both Tommy and John were great. I would highly recommend them
