Recently had our garage GFI go out and I immediately called Excel based on the very honest reviews from other people on here. I am happy to share that the glowing remarks about Glen are true. You know a contractor is honest when he tries to help you troubleshoot an issue over the phone before charging you to come to your home. Glen was polite and professional to my mom while I was away from home. Please expect more calls from us if we need electrical services in the future.

I had a very positive experience with Excel Electrical Services. I had several outlets that were not working and a bad circuit breaker. I spoke to Glen and he showed up promptly and diagnosed and fixed all of my issues. He also answered all of my (many) questions and educated me on the wiring of my home. Glen was patient, professional and really knows his business. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in need of electrical services.

One of the big name companies tried to scare me into a 10 grand repair so I called Excel to get a second opinion and it saved me thousands of dollars. Great guy, very responsive and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend excel!

Glen was referred to me by a residential electrical contractor whom I have worked with in the past. And I’m glad he did! Glen is extremely knowledgeable, careful, and responsive. A true professional. We were having issues in two rooms. He was quickly able to diagnose and fix both issues in a timely manner. And he is just a very kind person as a bonus. I highly recommend Glen and Excel Electric!

Glen replaced several outlets in our “kitchen annex” that were worn out and painted over, and relocated one higher up on the wall closer to a worktable surface so that our appliance plugs could reach. He also replaced a grubby looking combination light switch/GFCI in our bathroom. We were planning to have these things done in an upcoming big job, but plugs were truly falling out of some of these outlets, and it was too inconvenient and potentially hazardous to wait months with full service contractors being so busy. Since Glen only does these small, simple jobs, he got back to me in less than a day to schedule and was actually available sooner than I was. Five days after getting in touch, this is finally off my to-do list. Very friendly, communicative, and provides a great value.

Glen solved issues other people with experience could not solve. He’s seen enough screwy DIY to know how to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. He’s also just a terrific human being; extremely friendly, like having your dad over.
