I had a water disaster that flooded my kitchen and destroyed my microwave. I called Lake James Electric to make sure the wiring in wall and ceiling weren’t damaged and install my new microwave. The man who came was here at most an hour. I was billed $600. Just a bit much, I think.

Yesterday we had a GENERAC installed at our home. The 2 guys Chris and Hunter were the best. Soon as they arrrived they went to work in the blazing hot sun, did not hear them complain one word. We can recommend LAKE JAMES ELECT. and Chris and Hunter. Neil Farris came out — no pressure to purchase. Could not ask for more efficient sales person, he listened to what we wanted and printed out what expence each item would cost. If you are in the market for a GENERAC – call Lake James Elec. J. Way too expensive compared to other solar installers. Their estimate was almost 50% higher than other vendors, and their products were not that much better, if any. Will not do future business with them due to the high cost/overhead they charge.

Were timely and professional. Did a good job. Extremely expensive though. Serviced a generator by changing oil, filter and spark plug. They were here for 45 minutes. $650. That seems outrageous.

Chris and Hunter installed our Generac Generator today at our home in Catawba, NC. Just wanted to let you know how much my wife and I appreciate them and their professionalism. I was very impressed with their electrical work, knowledge and patients with my questions. They explained everything I need to know about the unit, cleaned up afterwards and let me know next steps. By the way Danielle is awesome too!
