Very friendly customer service, great hourly rates. They were able to get out to the property within a few hours of calling and even took care of more than what we asked for. Mark was our electrician that day and he communicated when he would arrive, the work that he did and when he left. He went above and beyond to help save us money on supplies and labor. 5 stars for Beco and 15 stars for Mark!

Very expensive, they charge you when they leave their office. They sat in the driveway until we came out to get them. We had two exterior outlets installed and they don’t match…at all. They were not prepared, however, offered to drive to Home Depot to get the parts and charge me the entire time they were shopping. No thanks. Guess I’m stuck with two different outlets, but charged for 5 Star work. Not fair and bad service to be honest. 2 Star work.

They came to us in an emergency. Evaluated and diagnosed the problem immediately. They came back the next day to replace the meter. The men that came were very professional. They (Eric and Michael) loaned us an extension cord from their truck while they were working to keep the refrigerator going so our food didn’t spoil. It hadn’t even crossed my mind to ask if such a thing was possible. My cousin has employed BECO before and will in the future. They will be recommended to anyone for professional and courteous service.

I see so many reviews complaining about cost of service. You need professionals when it comes to your electricity! You are paying for quality and reliability, both of which you will find with this company. Their technicians are well trained and their office staff is stellar. I spoke with Sandra in customer service, she was so kind, caring and helpful. An absolute pleasure to deal with. I had a conversation with Nick in scheduling when I had an issue with time and he was understanding and courteous. When the technicians came to repair my issue, they were polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Lastly, I spoke with Brandy in the billing department at receipt of my invoice. I thought I had gotten an answering machine when she answered the phone-she should be on radio! She was so sweet, pleasant, and easy to talk to. THIS is what you pay for and THIS experience is what will keep me coming back! Take names and post the good things, folks! It isn’t difficult!

Ridiculously overpriced. You might not ever pay overtime nights, weekends, or holidays but that’s because you pay overtime all the time. Estimator is sort of a jerk too. Crop the attitude.

I hired Beco Electric to fix some pock lighting that had stopped working over my bar area. Their representative told me that the lights would have to be replaced, and that I needed to purchase new lights at a box store. I did, but when the rep came back, he said they were the wrong size. I purchased more, but they were still the wrong size. I got another size at the box store, but the rep said the size was still wrong his third time back. He told me to go to a specialty electric store in High Point and they would know what I needed. I went to the specialty store, but they did not know. At this point, I asked the rep to have Beco supply the lights, although he had told me they were trying to get away from doing that. He never called me back. About a year later, I contacted a contractor, and he was able to replace my lighting without me buying/attempting to buy any lights myself. I didn’t hear from Beco for a while until they started sending me bills. I did not plan to pay for this farce, but they are taking me to court to add more money to the amount I do not owe them. I have decided to pay the stupid bill, but to let everyone know what their scam is.

Called Beco because we were told by another company we had to replace both our panels and meter because of a arcing breaker. Jonathan was very quick to come out and look at it after looking though our system he told me we only need the main panel changed. Sadly we would be with out heat that night but he was able to expedite the order and get the panel fixed the next day. The techs were extremely proficient and professional. we will continue to work with Beco.

Work done was fine. However, they charged for one way travel time in addition to the hours worked, which in my case was about $100!
