Interviewed for an HR position and was interviewed twice. I did two follow-ups and never heard back. Lack of professionalism. Companies can burn bridges too I see.

I hired in as Electrician on Elkton, VA Merck project. I worked on nights and was then picked up in Quality Control. I received an ROF (lay off) and a letter stating that the project was completed and the company had no further work in foreseeable future. Yet I spoke to a colleague and long-time friend that hired in a week before I did and he is still working “6 DAYS A WEEK.” as of 25 January 2021…3 months later. So…you have a company run by outspoken Christians that pray while in the midst of interviews with senior supervisors. At least at this site they had a very unique balance of 88% Hispanic personnel, and more than once I was told that if you were not in the Clique of those Hispanic crews or not connected to Merck in some regard, you were not long for the project. I’m ok with leaving for cause or good reason, I am not ok with being lied to and treated in such discriminatory fashion. P.S. The Brown’s may talk the talk…. Unprofessional, unethical and unbelievable….but true.
