They have been out to my house a total of 4 times now since November and furnace still isn’t running. I’ve paid close to $1000 to “fix” my furnace and every few weeks it’s something else requiring multiple calls. 🙃 at this point I will be calling the BBB will be a total of 5 calls at this point please don’t use them. ***edit to add finally spoke to owner and he was very pleasant and understanding of my problems and is sending someone else today. Hopefully they can fix the problem once and for all will update review to reflect results.

SITUATION UPDATE BELLOW Flat Rate Service Charge Company that has hidden charges. A month ago I had E&V come and look at our inoperable furnace. They charged $150.00 to drive 2 1/2 miles to my house. He said after checking the furnace that the Thermostat was bad. Due to my wife and I having COVID he could not come into the house to verify it. We bought a thermostat 3 weeks later to be installed. So, we called E&V to install it. I was very clear with the service department that we had a new one already to be installed. The technician spent one hour trying to figure out how the wires connected. He even called his supervisor for help. Their solution was install their thermostat. So we said ok. At no time did he discuss the price of the thermostat When we got the invoice we were shocked. It was over $450.00. I called the service department and talked to a women that was very rude, demeaning, and unprofessional. She said they do not install anything other than their own products, I tried to explain the Technician spent over an hour mounting the thermostat that we purchased. She said well, you could have just installed it my self. I explained I was a disabled Veteran with Parkinson’s disease and on a fixed income. Bottom line is I spent $600.00 to have a thermostat installed, Oh by the way the thermostat is mounted crooked. A more detailed letter has been forwarded to The State Attorney General’s Office and the Governor’s Office. UPDATE Continued Saga with E&V Energy. As previously mentioned, E&V charged us $600,00 to install a thermostat. After the thermostat was installed, it still did not operate correctly. I called E&V to tell them the thermostat they installed 30 days ago was not working properly, and I was told by the service department and the overall manager that the owner BANNED us from service due to me sending a letter to the Attorney General asking for help due to the overprice of $600.00 to install the thermostat. We had another HVAC Company come and check the thermostat. The thermostat was bad, due to the E&V Technician wiring the thermostat wrong, and improperly rearranged the wiring from the thermostat at the furnace. I called E&V back to tell them what the problem was. Again, they said we were banned from service and assistance. Once again I submitted an update to the Attorney General asking for assistance in getting a refund. By the way, the HVAC Company only charged us only $179.00 for installing the new thermostat and fix the wiring at the furnace.

My tankless heater went out on Christmas. Was charged $160 to get the part that was broken looked at. The tech takes it out, tries to clean it then reinstalls the part before announcing that this didn’t work still. We would need to pay $380 for them to come out, and do the same process as before only in reverse for a part that was on warranty. I check the box again to order the part myself and notice that the tech had left part of it unplugged. I replug it, restart the system and it has been working fine since. Even if it brakes in the future I will go somewhere else to have it installed. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Installers were here every day on time and worked diligently throughout the day as well as keeping us informed about any changes to the design or potential issues that may have arisen during the installation process. Very considerate about cleanliness when walking through the house.

This year I’ve had two installs with E&V (whole house AC and electric water heater). Same install team for both. They were on-time, courtesy, professional and knew what they were doing. Will use them again in the future.

Install guys Nate & Jamie were great. Complete furnace replacement & conversion done in a day. Took old furnace with them too. Office group very nice & informational. Very happy with the entire team at E & V.

Overpriced flat rate charges!!!! No transparency Reply to reply: not true. Only the $150 was communicated for them to drive 4 miles to my home. The rest was not and very overpriced

Great installation team. They were very knowledgeable and personable, and did a great job installing my system. They cleaned as they went and gave me a reasonable expectation of what to expect as they worked. They then gave me a good explanation about how my new system works and how to take care of it. I’d definitely recommend them and the team who installed my hvac mini-split system.

Had E&V install twin air source heat pumps and a total of 6 mini splits in my two story, modular built home of about 2000 sq ft overall. I received a site survey and quote from E&V and a second company, but was greatly impressed by Steve who did the site survey and estimate. The competitor came in at a slightly lesser cost, but Steve’s knowledge and no nonsense answers to our questions is what helped me decide to use E&V for this project. The install crew arrived on time and had a very fastidious work attitude, even while working in rain on 2 of the 3 days they projected for completion. Very professional install; they cleaned up “ on the go” as they worked; and we are very pleas3 with the product, the results, and the people who installed it. System is very quiet and the balance of temperature between rooms is seamless. Extremely pleased at this point. If you are looking to install heat pump systems, call E&V- I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s a 5 star rating at this point.
