Universal gave me great service on rewiring my kitchen. They arrived when they said they would. Work was neat and they cleaned up afterwards. They gave me a reasonable bid and didn’t charge a penny over. Electricians were friendly and explained any questions that I had.

It can be difficult to find an electrician who will do low-voltage wire (CAT6, ethernet, etc) in a residential home in Omaha. Trying to fish through walls, etcetera. My project was a whole-house ethernet install, and Ultimately, I went with Rick and the group. Rick came out to give a look, and quoted high and low ranges (I hadn’t quite decided how much to go for). But ultimately, went with the whole house, plus an extra socket install. Fair price, professional group. A scheduling hiccup was the worst bit, and that was quickly resolved. They managed to do the entire thing in roughly half a day. Would recommend if you’re searching for this type of job. Did I mention, they clean up after themselves, and are more than willing to explain any part of the process?

Agreed soon a price and when they showed up did the work in and out in 40 minutes tried billing me for 3.5 hours was agreed price before of 187.5$ and now they stiffing the home owner with a bill of 487$ would highly recommend not hiring very bad business practices

Where to begin… New panel was installed upside down and to low to the floor, main grounding wire was not hooked to the proper lug in the panel, ran aluminum wire outside that was not to be ran per the power company and had to be completely removed without so much as a bill credit, failed to remove all grounding screws from panel which caused the inspector to fail the panel inspection and last but not least left their garbage and metal fragments all over their work area. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I should also mention that they completed all of my work on Friday and didn’t bother to apply or receive the permit until the following Monday…
