If you are going to contract them to do work, do whatever you can to have them come and look at the job before you get a price from them! They were hired out by our HVAC company, but we were responsible for paying them separately. They gave us a quote based off of pictures of our electric box provided by the HVAC Company clearly showing the level of work that would need to be done. Code Electric showed up to do the job and were completely unprepared. They told us it ended up being “more complicated” than they realized, and then charged us 2.5 times the original price they gave us! We were completely blindsided by this. They were given all of the information to give us an accurate quote to begin with, but did not do their due diligence and now we are paying for it. We have additional electric work that needs to be done on our house, but we will absolutely be going with a different company moving forward. Very disappointed!

I had this outfit do a remodel job for my commercial building. The two gentleman that came out to do the work were pleasant and very helpful in making some changes to my original ideas. The job took 2 days and i can say that the end result was excellent. I will have other work and this company will be selected for it.

Very efficient, knowledgeable, professional. Had a lot to do with changing my old fuse box into a breaker panel which had to be relocated. Installed new outdoor wiring also. Job was completed in around five hours or less. Nice to work with, highly recommend them!

Got into a “he said (s)he said” scenario with the owner over some terms set by one of the “professionals” working in our home post fire from Code. Basically Dan A. called my husband a liar, despite one of his workers saying go for it when it came to buying lights. He tacked these additional lights on our bill despite our receipt. Wouldn’t return our phone calls to sort out. Wouldn’t even meet half way or ANYthing. Bull-headed and ignorant. I guess what it come down to is Code’ seems comfortable with insurance fraud. Would never recommend. EDIT 10/11/22 after business response: we were charged for lights that are not in our house. Yes, you were in touch with everyone else but us. Still would not recommend you.

Hasn’t done any work yet but they answered the phone and scheduled me 1 week out which is more then anyone else had done!
