I had an air conditioner installed by Constellation Home 4 months ago. It hasn’t gone a month without issue. I have had service technicians out twice already the issues have not been resolved. It’s either a lemon system or poorly installed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone. It has been nothing but a headache without any attempt to fix the issues by Constellation Home.

This is by far the worst equipment that I have ever had. I had a furnace put in in 2014, and since then, I have lost count as to how many MULTIPLE visits were made to my home because either the furnace, a/c, or thermostat stopped working. If I had known I would be having this many issues, I would have gone with a different company. The only good thing is that I did purchase the insurance plan, which has long ago paid for itself, so I don’t have to pay for the visits when the technicians come. I strongly encourage anyone who makes a purchase from Constellation Home to do the same. Ok so the furnace issue is solved, but I am still having issues with the cooling system. My thermostat reads 5-6 degrees higher than it is set for, and when we reach super high temperatures, the house is still warm. This has been going on for the last 3-4 years, and I’ve had 3-4 different thermostats installed with no change. Again, if I had to purchase again, Constellation Home would not be my choice

I have another review to add! So in this 100 degree heat, our second unit stopped working – the one for the lower part of the house. Mr Dong Paek came to our rescue! He fixed the issue within 5 minutes – there was an issue with electrical part on the outside unit! He also was diligent and checked the furnace and was exhuding confidence and empathy! Thank you!!!!!

This review is about the accounting department at constellation home. I have a service with them but they can never get my bill exactly as it’s supposed to be. Every month is something different and mostly wrong. I have called many times spoken to agents supervisors and it’s still they have not been able to resolve a simple billing situation. I’m just about to cancel my service with them and find another home warranty service that they can handle regular billing system. In this day and age with all the computers and technology that is available I just do not understand that how come they cannot resolve my billing situation. Especially after so many calls and so many conversations and so many promises they have made it’s still they have not resolve the situation. I’ll be somebody called me that has some authorities and abilities to fix the situation.

I have a service contract on a gas water heater. After over 20 years it began to slowly leak(on Saturday). I called for service and someone came that day to assess it.He turned off the water and gas to the unit and advised it needed to be replaced and he called Constellation with the status. A call from Christina in sales started the process.But I had to get a liner in the chimney by a independent company, to meet code before a new water heater could be installed. Christina helped me organise it. The CH estimate included a water heater of equal quality, and new essensial parts. The process took several days. Finally installation days came. No one called to give an ETA, I called several times and politely received different ETA’s every time. Late in the day Derrick and Paul arrived, They were a real team. Although being overbooked, they worked quickly but accurately. They removed the old water heater and installed the new one, and cleaned up in under than 90 minutes. Points given for courtesy and knowing the product. Points lost for poor notification from the office

Our heat pump stopped cooling yesterday afternoon. We have a service contract and a technician fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. We appreciate the fast response.

Technicians reported that my “System was flashing a code” rather than actually telling me what the code was; then charged me for replacing every possible part that could have been the issue, rather than targeting a specific subcomponent at a lower price – resulting in an extremely inflated bill. Will be looking for other HVAC servicers. I appreciate the offer below for additional discussion via a direct message; but I see no available method on this platform to do so.

Pat came timely after calling ahead. He started at the fusebox and noticed a hotter than normal switch but he wanted to check the capacitor outside first. Sure enough the capacitor was the problem. My AC is back up and running in no time. A true professional and easy to talk to and understand what he was doing. I will stay with Constellation as long as they have technicians of the highest quality such as Pat.
