These guys go above and beyond to help you in your time of HVAC needs!! Even when they ran into issues that was no fault of theirs they stayed worked through them and fixed them and got us up and going!! Billy is man of his word and both him and his crew won’t let anything stop them from getting you up and going!!

I was first introduced to the owner of Southern HVAC, Billy Griffith through a mutual friend a few years ago. I guess because he was a newer company he cared a little more about the work that he did. I felt very heard and taken care of when it came to HVAC work I needed on my rental properties. I was happy with him that I continued to use them for maintenance on my properties and referred them to several people. I learned that there were some people that were very dissatisfied with their experience so I no longer recommended them but continued to use them myself since my experience so far was good. They came out to repair my AC in 2022 and then did a followup service 6 months later where I was told that the part they just replaced was broken. When I reminded them that they’d just replaced it, they said they would warranty it out. I thought this was odd but continued to use them. In 2023 my AC was backing up and leaking all over the room. I called Southern HVAC and one of the techs came out to inform me that I had a cracked pan which would mean that I would need to take out the entire interior unit and this would cost me thousands of dollars. I asked if they cleaned the lines and he confirmed that they did and this was not the issue. I decided to get a second opinion and called Air Supply Heating and Air Conditioning. Scott came out, cleaned the line and for $120 my problem was solved! A few days later I received an invoice from Billy Griffith for them coming out and I explained to him that I didn’t think it was right to charge me for the visit because they didn’t even clean the line and it felt like they were just trying to upsell me rather than do the right thing and fix the very simple problem at hand. Billy apologized profusely, blamed it on his tech, and said he didn’t want to lose my business and would personally handle all my calls from them on. Fast forward to May 2024. After one no show to install an electric line and service an AC by another company, I decided to give Billy another chance to win my business and since he did electric work I asked him to install a wired doorbell and service my AC on May 13th. Keep in mind this is for an AirBNB so I let them know I would be blocking off several nights (losing revenue) to make sure that it would be available to do the install. After confirming the appointment days before, I learned that no one showed up to do the install. When I reached out a few days later his wife, Kassie, said they were so sorry and couldn’t make it because of the weather. There was really bad weather on the 13th so even though I thought they should’ve reached out at some point to cancel or let me know they didn’t show up, I decided to let them reschedule. This time we rescheduled for May 23rd at 9am. Both Billy and Kassie texted me the day before to confirm. I was at the rental property from 9am – 12pm waiting on them. No one called me. No one texted me back. No one at the office would answer. I then realized that instead of explaining that they’d somehow dropped the ball that their solution was to BLOCK ME from their business and personal accounts. I believe they blocked me in an attempt to prevent me from giving them an honest review. But I need to let the public know what an awful, unreliable, sketchy company I believe Southern HVAC is. To this day I have not heard back from anyone. I’m extremely disappointed and now after 4 bad interactions with them, I not only would never recommend them, I would suggest to everyone willing to listen that they never use Southern HVAC. It’s very clear the owners lack integrity all the way around.

Excellent customer service from the office staff to the technicians. Quick response, on time for appointment and professional replacement of our AC units. Brian even brought out 2 window units for our comfort while waiting on our install. The owner, Billy, came out with Brian and crew to meet us and get the job rolling. We are customers for life. Thank you Southern HVC.
