I called Lightning Bug this morning for help with an outdoor outlet. Scott arrived at 4:00 today to fix the outlet. Tech who came out addressed and tried to up sell work before even giving me an estimate for what he came out for. Asked follow-up questions on the quote and have not heard back. May have been bad luck with Tech, but ultimately LBE is accountable for the service and lack of follow-up. Can not recommend Want to add comments after LBE response That is correct the Tech did advise that there was a grounding issue – the panel is grounded with grounding rod and copper wire. Copper wire was loose – a 30 second fix. Tech also said there is code issues – the panel is 20 years old, I asked if it was code when built (no answer). I questioned if it had to be brought up to code without new work being done – no answer I obviously want the pool to be safe also. Asked for detail on $1,200 estimate to run ~200′ of ground and neutral wire…never received detail.

I had a new pendant lighting fixture installed. This was in an area where there was no previous fixture. So the electrician, Garrett, had to open up the ceiling drywall, run lines and create a new switch. His work was exemplary. He showed up on time, came into my home with shoe covers, walked me through everything he was going to do, and double checked to make sure the location where he was hanging the light was perfectly centered. His drywall cuts were clean, he cleaned all of the dust and covered my furniture. He replaced the drywall sections he cut so that I would not have gaping holes in my ceiling until I had the area repaired. From beginning to end it was a very professional experience. I’m pretty picky about who I let work in my home. I would not hesitate to have Garrett back for other projects or to recommend him to friends or neighbors. 5 star service all around!
