When I received a notice from my insurance company to upgrade the panel in my home, I was worried about finding a qualified contractor to complete the work by the deadline. When I reached out to Amped Electric for a quote, I had a (very reasonable!) written estimate with a detailed scope of work within 24 hours. Not even 48 hours later, they texted me to let me know the permit had been pulled and confirmed the date they would be out to do the upgrade. The day prior to my scheduled install, my electric provider dropped the ball and told me they couldn’t schedule the temporary power shutoff until 3 days after my insurance company’s replacement deadline. Amped *immediately* called my service provider and really went to bat for me to make sure this job would go on as scheduled to meet the deadline. That day, I received multiple updates on the progress while I was at work. When I got home, the first thing I noticed was that Jayson and his crew left the work area cleaner than what they walked into! My service provider was running *very* behind on reconnecting my service. Jayson stuck around for 3 hours after he was done waiting on them — I had to beg the guy to go home as I was driving home from work! He called me hourly to see if I was up and running — they went so above and beyond to hold my provider to make it right with me. I can’t thank them enough. We’re lucky to have this great local, family-owned company run by such good, honest people. They deserve your business — Call them!

Very happy with this business. Where others were difficult to work with and almost impossible to get a quote this business was very pleasant to work with and was able to give us a good idea on the cost. While working on the job they were still very nice to work with and got the job done quicker than expected. I am very happy we called amped electric.

We are so pleased with the instalation. He came in an re-varified my needs, had all the required parts. Went right to work then explained what was accomplished and how I can monitor it for full effect. Very Happy.

Call on Monday, I was told the he would call back in few minutes to leave my information. I called back on Tuesday morning and he said that he was about to call, that he would call me back with appointment time and date. He called back on Wednesday and confirmed the appointment for Friday between 1pm and 3pm. I waited on Friday until 6 pm to callback after the no show, I called and told him that he had me wasted a half a day out of work waiting for him to arrived and that my review will reflect his lock of professionalism and integrity in keeping his word and the appointment, that if he was stuck on another job, all he had to do was to have the decency call early and cancel. I would have understood because I had been stuck on jobs that ran concurrent with other jobs. But I always had the decency to callback and reschedule for later that day or another day. Amped electric Llc of Spring Hill might be a good company to others customers but I will tell you that wasn’t my experience. No insults or bad mouthing, I am just respectfully stating the facts. You stated on your response to my review that I left you nasty text messages, I would like you to post it, it will show that what I posted in my review is within what I text you. I will back it up face to face, my integrity is not in question yours is.

I’ve used Amped Electric three times now! This time they installed flush LED kitchen lights to replace my not bright enough fixtures. The result is amazing! It’s a beautiful soft but bright light. I jokingly said we can now do surgeries LOL. With the dimmer switch we are in control of the brightness which is always a plus. Again, Jayson & his assistant showed up cheerful and ready to work. It really is a pleasure to do business with them. I will not hesitate to call Amped Electric for any future electrical needs. This is the second time I’ve used this company. The fact that I called them a couple of years later says volumes! The first time Jason replaced a faulty GFI outlet & thoroughly explained exactly how they work. Was very impressed with how he wanted to teach you. So when I needed a bunch of electrical work done, I knew who to call. This visit, he installed 2 dedicated GFI outlets for our water filtration system & battery powered riding mower; removed 5 old smoke detectors & replaced with new; replaced a light switch in bathroom & replaced a faulty outlet. We also discussed my kitchen lighting situation (too dark) & he suggested LED lighting. We liked what he showed us & yup, we’re going on the schedule to have him do these as well. Jason is very courteous & professional, knows exactly what he’s doing, & is a pleasure to have him do work at our home. We give him 5 thumbs up!

When they say they are coming to appointment they don’t show or call . Have used them before but 4 phone calls and promises coming and no show and no call . Wanted 2 weeks waiting. Very unprofessional.

The owner of Amped electric is very professional prompt and honest. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and clients for all there electric needs!
