Exorbitant prices. One visit to flip-on a breaker, less than 10 minutes, was charged $360.00! Prices were on the high side on two previous service visits, but the quality of service was exceptional. Five-star workmanship, 2 star prices.

Recently we had a whole house generator installed at our home. Everyone at Excel electric was very easy to work with and polite. All inspections passed with flying colors. We are very pleased with the end result. Thank you!

Installed a chandelier and new flood light (which the old one was apparently a fire hazard, so glad we did this). Work was done promptly, well, and on average cost. There’s a reason Excel is rated so highly. It shows in the quality work.

Recommend Excel for generator service. Prompt, professional, well-trained field tech. Karen in the office & Victor in the field are very good. Excel maintains my 2023 Briggs & Stratton generator that had error codes & stopped exercising. As with other reviews, the visit began by Victor charging a diagnosis fee. He discovered the errors were from a bad part that B&S had recalled and was fully covered for parts & service. Victor reversed my fee before he finished fixing it. B&S paid for it. Victor fixed the problem in 1 visit. Same-day service was terrific.

Good service, BUT outrageous prices!!! Cost $300.00 to just evaluate problem, then another almost $300.00 because my dishwasher had burnt one of the electrical outlets. Charged almost $300.00 to replace the outlet and put a new cord on my dishwasher! Allmost $300 for 2everyday parts is ridiculous along with $300.00 just to walk in my house. The dishwasher cost a little more than that. Check around and go thru their charges 1st. My neighbor recommended them, but a few weeks later, they told me they gave me the wrong company and had never used Excel. In addition to the above post and Excel’s response, had I called another company after he found the problem i would still have been out the charge to find the problem. I had no idea the parts were going to cost so much until he gave me the final charge. I was not informed about the parts cost before he got them and put them in. Had I known the cost of parts before he replaced them, I may have stopped the job and contacted another company.

Richard just left my house a little bit ago. While he was outside examining some outside lights, he noticed that that a tree was hitting a transformer causing sparking and smoke. He notified me and told me to call FPL and I got flustered explaining and handed him the phone and he clarified the situation. I then called 911 because of the sparking and got the fire department here. In the meantime my 17 year old dog got out and ran off due to the noise. The fire department found her a block away but she couldn’t make the walk all the way home. Richard watched her while I got my car to drive her back. He was a lifesaver today and did above and beyond what he was required to do. I am very glad that my coworker gave me the name of your company and I will be praising you to anyone who asks for a recommendation for an electrician.

I hired Excel electric company to rewire and replace two fluorescent fixtures for LED bulbs in my laundry rooms. It’s a great company to work with, fast and reliable service. The technician (Travis) arrived as scheduled, he was knowledgeably, respectful and honest. I want to thank him for the outstanding customer service provided. Thanks again!

Excel Electric does great work at an affordable price with top notch customer service. We had some additional lighting added to our home and also replaced a few celing fans and updated all the outlets. George and his team worked quickly and efficiently and gave us the peace of mind that the job was done right. We plan on using them again for any future projects and would highly recommend them for all your electrical needs.
