Poor service. Was charged 3 times for a diagnosis that should have taken one trip. Trip 1: checked ext breaker box didnt call about access to mechanical room. Trip 2: Checked if key was on desk for mechanical room. Trip 3: Used key to locate breaker in mechanical room. When i said something about the diag of a breaker taking three trips. They took the 495$ and backed out of the job completely.

As much as electrical work is not my favorite thing to pay for Hobbs has always been a painless experience. They show up on time and do the work as expected- I’ve used them for years and hope to continue to use them.

I had the same experience with the receptionist that many others are describing here. She is very rude and incapable of handling an issue when the work goes wrong. I hired this company to make electrical repairs so that I could obtain homeowners insurance. The work was very sloppy and it would not pass inspection, so this was a total waste of money. They were not knowledgeable about the repair that was needed (although she assured me that they were), and they pulled an unnecessary permit that I had to pay for. Also the repair was worse than before and left my home open for potential water damage. I tried explaining this to the receptionist, but like everyone else here says, she will not let you speak. She ended up hanging up on me. I was offering a learning experience to her, but she and the company she represents are not interested in learning from mistakes.

CALLED OFFICE, SPOKE TO LISA, VERY HELPFUL ON PHONE, SCHEDULED FOR THEM TO INSTALL GENERATOR PLUG ON OUTSIDE OF HOUSE, WORKERS SHOWED UP WHEN PROMISED, WORK PERFORMED WAS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED, PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE, WOULD USE & RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. HAD HOBBS ELECTRIC COME OUT AGAIN TO INSTALL FLOODLIGHTS ON FRONT & REAR OF HOUSE, AS USUAL WORK PERFORMED EXTREMELY WELL , ALL OF PEOPLE FROM OFFICE STAFF TO ELECTRICIANS WERE GREAT
