They inspected the outlets at a rental home, but it felt like they had no actual interest in the safety of the building. For example, they were checking whether or not the house was properly grounded. After looking at the outlets, which were three prong with no grounding wire (nor a grounded box), they said it was “fine to use.” This is a blatant violation of electrical code, but the technician signed off on it. My fridge isn’t grounded, but is stainless steel. If I touch that thing during a surge, I am dead. Maybe reconsider being serviced by this company if you value your life. Not only that, but they didn’t even call to set up an appointment. They simply showed up. It’s not particularly professional, but less worrying than accepting code violations.

Called early morning, before 7:30am got a call back almost immediately. Said they’d be here around 8:45 . Got started immediately and worked straight through the day to get it all finished so we could get our power back on. Very reasonable, up front with the cost and explained my options. Call them first.
