I called to have them come evaluate our panels at a commercial building. They explained their pricing and service call fee. I provided the address and after being on hold for a few minutes I was told they were “unable to take the project” with no explanation. I don’t consider this to be a good business practice or customer service.

I called on SWFL Electric several years ago and was beyond impressed with the work done. This time I needed power restored to my dock… The phone receptionist found me a swift appointment and kindly found me another when I had to switch. Bert showed up on schedule, inspected my entire home electric set-up as part of the service call — and did find a number of problems to address and updates to code to suggest. He proposed several estimates for different “packages” of work, including of course just the price of the service call; I felt no pressure to agree to any of these other than the inspection charge (on discount at the time!) but did sign on for some fixes that seemed advisable. I may get some of the other work done at a later date. Bert was personable and a pleasure to talk to, as well as totally knowledgeable about things electric. He identified my dock power problem and corrected it, replaced some GFCI outlets, and replaced the main electric panel surge protector that had probably died 15 years ago… He will return next week to finish the job with some parts he didn’t have with him. I was already recommending SW FL Electric to friends, and will continue to do so most enthusiastically!

Just had Southwest Florida Electric install Generator inlet with interlock kit on my home in preparation for hurricane season. They arrived on tine, completed the job as promised, and provided excellent service. Also got surge protector installed in my panel. Will use again with future projects!!

Jo Casasus did an excellent job installing our transfer switch. He took time to identify circuits and outlets to maximize the appliances and lights we could use. He assisted us in testing our generator to make sure it operated properly. He went over the switch operation and marked our switch. He answered questions and offered suggestions on what we could include in an emergency operation. We were extremely pleased with Jo and Southwest Florida Electric.
