I’ve lived in the area for 25 years and I have had residential electrical work completed many times over the years. This week I worked with Smith’s Electric on a few repairs and home improvements, and without a doubt, in the future I will call them back. My technician, Charley, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient as my wife and I had many questions for him. The workmanship was perfect. I highly recommend Smith’s Electric.

Stopped in to have a electrical cord checked out. Dan Burke, operations manager was nice enough to check it out and told me what the problem was, at no charge this is the type of business you want in the community. thank you, Steve

My parents are octogenarians – and in this area there is unfortunately a large number of dishonest people that are happy to take advantage of this population. My parents were quoted well over 5 TIMES the amount from other electricians in the area. Smith’s charged us more than fairly, and they were very understanding of my parents situation. We dealt with an extremely polite and professional gentleman by the name of Charles who went above and beyond to make sure that my parents felt comfortable with what he was doing and what they were being charged for. In the end, the job got done, and he took some extra time with us to make sure that everything was safe and that my elderly and confused parents were happy with his work. Honestly, as someone who lives 5 hours away from my folks, I couldn’t ask for a more trustworthy person to be there for my folks when I can’t – let alone provide high quality work. The attention to detail is important – his work required that a hole was left – not part of job to do yard work. But he still covered the hole and informed me so that my parents would be safe. At the end of the day, contractors and techs are always going to have folks complaining about them. But when the rubber hits the road, what matters is if they are transparent about their pricing and the EMPATHY they employ when getting the job done. People matter – and Smith’s demonstrates that while their expertise is in electrical work, they specialize in putting people first.

My husband hired Smith’s electric to put in some outlets and put up outside lights. After the electrician left – I walked into my office – where he had been working. All the things he moved were thrown against the wall and my computer and printer no longer were working! My husband and I are senior citizens. It isn’t easy for either of us to get things reconnected. I had to mess around and finally found the plugs and where they had to be plugged back in.. Today I discover my printer is not connected to my computer! This all should have been put back the way it was found – when the technician worked on that plug! I am beyond annoyed!

I highly recommend Smith’s Electric for all of your electrical needs. I’m in love with my new Panasonic ultra quiet bath fan. I had new dimmers installed on my bathroom lights and dining room. And a whole house surge protector. Very happy with their service. Will use again for any future projects.
