I regret not using your services sooner. You were the 15th person/company I contacted for a quote to fix my back porch light, which had been unusable for almost a year and a half. However, you promptly identified the problem and provided an affordable solution within an hour. Your team was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They left the area spotless after their work. Best ever. Responds on time. Great communication from both Danelle in the office and Chris in the field. They did a re-wire after a lightning strike. We were so impressed we had them come back twice for some extra lighting and fans.

Horrible experience with this company!! NO stars. Our house burned to the ground 17 years ago and we finally were able to rebuild our new house which we started last year. As with everything post covid, supply chain problems and prices, labor issues and so on which we understand, we were able, against all obstacles to get to the point were the electricians and plumbers come back to finish hooking everything up and tie us to the utilities about October last year. Well its the end of January they have just now told us that they will not be coming to finish because they feel threatened and they cannot find enough manpower. The owner told our general contractor that they were working on a 1000 new home development and he would get to us when he could. Also that it was deer hunting season… That was over 90 days ago. When we called again and left a message since they do not ever answer the phone and told them that we were seeking legal recourse they right away send an email saying they would not come finish the job. It is very obvious that they never wanted to finish and were looking for a way out. I wish now i followed my gut feeling 3 months ago and found another competent electrician. As a home owner we have very little recourses in the matter but filling a complaint is one of them. All money paid is up to date and the work done was very good but a job left unfinished is no job at all. I do not recommend this company they have ZERO customer service and have left us in the cold. My wife had a stroke in the middle of all this mess and we took this guy’s word and contract they they would FINISH THE JOB. Well he has no word and just breached his contract. I am certain his wife will bring up feelings and try to explain away in a long response to ANOTHER bad review but the facts remain there for all to see and make informed decisions on hiring a contractor that will follow thru.

We had Colson Electric out to do some work recently, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The technicians were not only professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous- but also extremely good at what they do. If you need work done, definitely include them in your list.

I put a Facebook post asking for an electrician ASAP. The owner came that night and fixed us up. Competent and friendly.

We had a major electrical issue at our church. Our go to electrical company said 3 months till they could get to it to check it out. Called Colson’s and explained the situation. Steve came right out and as he was inspecting the problem he opened the box and a huge spark shot out. Huge as in over a foot. Steve calmly turned around and said “that’s why you never stand in front of a box when you open it.” With that he immediately called the power company for an emergency disconnect. They came right out and pulled all the power to the church. Steve quickly came up with what needed to be done to remedy the problem, worked up the needed parts and gave us a quote. We accepted the quote and he call his suppliers to get the parts. They had to go to Mobile to get the panels he needed. In the end power off on Wed and fully restored Friday before lunch. Can say enough good things about Steve and his son Jake who was assisting him. They worked hard to get the building back up and running. If you have an electrical issue, give Colson’s a call. I know that they will be my first call for anything electrical related.

I don’t recommend this company for anything. They neglected to come out and finish something they looked over and didn’t do and Colson the owner didn’t want to send anyone out to finish what they neglected to do. Colson is rude and very unprofessional. We had to fire them from the new construction job we hired them to do. I don’t recommend this company! To add reviews are to inform other customers of issues with a company. Negative or positive! We were the hired on project manager to finish the job and as a general contractor myself I understand fully what customer service means. If your company neglected to do something during a scheduled service and they didn’t then as the owner you should make sure that it gets done immediately even if that means coming back out in between a scheduled time. So, it’s ok to fail just learn from your failure and better yourself and your company. That is customer service and that is a true leader and business owner. Hope you take this as constructive criticism and in the future service your customer the way you’re suppose to and without an attitude. No room in business for a hateful attitude.

Look no further for all your electrical needs. Steve Colson is the best and saved my business a ton of money. And on the 4th of July no less!! He will be who I call always when I need electrical work!!
