Hold on to your wallet! The work was fine. This was for a rental property and I live out of town. I try to take care of my tenants and it was a Friday afternoon so I felt I had no choice. It was a slow draining kitchen sink and the old plumbing drain in the basement needed to be replaced. They were able to do the work the next day. 3 people about 5 hours of work, plus the guy who came out to do the quote–$4100. You don’t get any kind of an itemized breakdown–just the total.

Doctor Fix-It, Incredible response, 16 July 2024 I called Doctor Fix-It at 3:00 pm yesterday to tell them, the big fan inside our 4-ton Frigidaire 16 Seer Air Conditioner had stopped running and the in-house temps were rising fast. They had a technician at our house by 8:00 am the next morning. With the major heatwave Denver had been experiencing I had expected a 3 day or longer wait and bigtime billing. The technician, Chad Fortini, diagnosed the unusual problem and corrected it with no charge under the original warranty. 17 hours from notification to repaired and running, totally beyond any expectations and VERY MUCH appreciated. Chad Fortini also pointed out that the accumulated fluff on the cooling coils may have led to the shutdown. I had no idea you need to clean them now and then. Again, THANK YOU Doctor Fix-It. The coil is now spotless and the unit happily running.

Chad recently did our A/C service and check. He was professional and polite. Chad did a great job explaining some issues with our A/C and we never felt pressured to go forward with his suggestions. We did move forward with some repairs because of the service and trust Chad built with us. Chad, just like all the other staff we have worked with are wonderful! Highly recommend.

Brent came out to finish up HVAC maintenance after parts that were ordered came in. Brent is polite, friendly, professional and is always concerned with doing the best for his customer. I have used Doctor Fix It for plumbing, electrical and HVAC and all the technicians always show up with a smile and the ability to fix your problems.

My air conditioner was not working when I woke up today and I called Dr. Fix-It to come out today to check my A/C unit. The tech told me I needed to spend $16-20k for a new air conditioning and furnace unit because the heat exchanger was cracked, the A/C unit was shot and the compressor was overloaded. Thankfully I have a friend that referred me to an honest company and that company came out, changed the capacitor and voila, A/C is working just fine-$300. Wow, the audacity of some companies baffles me. I guess if you get 1 $20,000 job a week you’re a millionaire every year. Do not trust Dr Fix-It or their deceptive practices.
