Dishonest experience with Save Home Heat after previously having a positive one installing a furnace. Recently, my partner and I had them repair an AC unit at our rental. It was a simple fix of flipping the breaker. However, after doing a diagnosis, the repair tech did not provide a quote or request authorization until after he reset it. He had her sign the authorization after the “repair”. We were charged $100 for this which was after the $75 dispatch and $100 diagnostic fee. I was traveling for work at the time and if present would not have authorized the fix. Realizing we were scammed, I called the office to make a formal complaint and was told a manager would call me back, which never happened. My partner called two weeks later as a follow up and the receptionist said that the $100 was an additional diagnostic fee, which didn’t make sense. She then transferred her to the manager who didn’t pick up or have a voicemail and still have not heard back. I would avoid using this company despite their high reviews or be cautious after a diagnosis is made.

Jesus was on time, professional, and clearly explained why our AC unit was freezing up due to using the wrong type of filter. I will definitely use them again when I have an HVAC issue and for maintenance.

Jacob Y was sent to my home to install the 2nd thermostat for an air-conditioning split. He was early, polite, and explained how the thermostat worked before he left. He even offered solutions for a drywall gap in the same room. Folks like Jacob are very helpful. I give Jacob 5 stars. Save Home would do well to have more folks like him.

I received a call to see if it was okay to come a bit early–much appreciated. The plumbing tech Gerardo (sp) was so gracious and explained everything he did, as well as things to watch out for in the future. Tankless water heater flush was the main reason for the visit–so beyond doing myself–grateful for the professional and thorough job. Worth every penny!!!!!
