I called ahead for pricing and Paul was very helpful and said we could pay over the phone and he’d have the wiring waiting for us when we got there. When we called back 30 minutes later to place the order with the correct measurements we were connected to another man who was very rude and told us “nope, not gonna happen”. He said they can do that but HE prefers the card to be present. I explained to him we were literally on our way and they would be closing so we wanted to get a step ahead. He still would not accommodate us, even after we had already been told we could pay ahead. Will never do business here again. I’d pay extra somewhere else just to deal with nicer more respectful people. Sam Light

Went to ask for a replacement globe on a lamp I bought there. Would not even discuss taking the lamp back without a receipt. I was told that because the light had been wired in they would not take it back either. That particular lamp is not sold at any other place that I can find in Johnson City. I really wanted the light and was willing to epoxy the small piece at the top of the light that was broken. I had planned to return and buy two Tiffany lamps for my living room. I will never do business with this outfit again. Acted like either I had broken the lamp or the electrician had broken the lamp. I had kept the lamp in an isolated part of our basement to protect it from any damage until the electrician could put it up. My husband was there when the electrician opened the box along with several other carpenters. Not a fan of this business any longer. Can’t abide someone who stiffs me for over $100! I took two lamps there to have the screw that holds the lightbulb socket on and new felt bottoms about two weeks ago. When I went to pick them up the screw had not been replaced and the the felt that was cut for the bottom of the lamps was cut in a very jagged and uneven manner. In effect I was charged $30 for two pieces of jagged felt and about 20 minutes of time!

We needed to repair a 60 year old front door lamp. They had the exact repair part needed; a decorative feral that holds the entire light together. Now it will match the light on the other side of the door. I’ll definitely return for all my lighting purchases. You don’t see a store like this anymore.

First visit. Had an outdated item that you can’t find anymore. Those guys will hook u up with whatever your electrical problem is. Might as well go there. They havi it ALL.

Well I am a prior customer on a 2nd , I have spent thousands in this place , apparently they no longer need your money or business but today caught me completely off guard at the counter sales with apparently the owner of the sons store himself, I did go all the way to meet with his father as the experience was so bad , this literally ruined my day and had cost me time and money having to go elsewhere now , was a larger order today over 1,000 what a rude arrogant person , yes I left not so nice but you pushed me to that point ,he asked if I was just going to ask questions or spend any money while the Tennessee football game was blaring so loud we could barely talk anyways I showed him the cash I had for order and walked out never again

These people order food togo all the time and NEVER tip the staff. Disrespectful!! Over $80 every time and don’t leave a dime.
