Very poor installation! I had a laminate wood floor put in February and still have boards buckling. Cody came out and used a nail gun to fix them that totally failed. After many times of trying to contact him I have still not gotten a response so I pulled the furniture away from the walls (which he put back after the installation) wondering if I’m missing something. My living room floor have numerous boards that are not flush to the base of the floor (some of them 1″ short). I have still not received a call, e-mail, or text. This was not a cheap floor job and my expectations of the finished job and lack of communication is very frustrating. I do not recommend this young man to do any wood floors to anyone!!!

I’ve had several interactions with these folks, “Best Home Guys”, over the years: 2015 Siding replaced above the garage door. They had to replace some of the underlayment as well. The trim above the door had begun deteriorating, so it was replaced and a custom drip cap installed over it to prevent further issues. 2017 Siding replaced on chimney chase-It is ridiculous to have a “chimney chase” with no fireplace, but they stamp these houses out from a common blueprint I guess. But the top wasn’t sealed, and moisture had gotten behind the siding. Most of the siding and some underlayment had to be replaced. I had them do the painting this time, as my ladder didn’t have the reach to extend to the top. 2023 Folding doors adjusted and a door trimmed at bottom for clearance-After replacing carpeting, the installers couldn’t figure out how to re-install the folding doors. I expected they needed trimming to clear the carpet but that wasn’t the case. The BHG guy fixed the doors without having to trim the door at all. BUT, since I had the fellow anyway, I had him trim the bottom of a different door which was rubbing on a carpet. 2024 New garage steps, with lower risers and a railing-The original steps were getting rickety, so they need to be replaced. I had the risers changed from 8″ to 6″ for ease of access, and had a railing attached as well (I am getting older) So, I have a lot of experience with these guys, and am obviously quite satisfied with their work, as I continue to call on them. I have not had a bad experience. The workers are personable, and accommodating, and their work is exemplary. I won’t hesitate to call on them again sometime.

It has been a couple of years since we had our bathroom and bedroom remodeled. I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but now, as we are still dealing with issues, I think it’s important people have the warning. It was a terrible experience and we continue to deal with quality issues. What was quoted as a 5 week remodel, took 10 weeks. There were multiple days where we would have no one show up or contact us. When any work was completed by another company, Jon, or his team, would not be at the house to ensure quality work was done. As a result, we had a shower door installed 2 times with multiple issues. Our shower looks like our teenager tiled it, with tiles that have cracked and grout that has worn. The faucets in our bathroom have no pressure. We’ve had to have plumbers out to try to fix plumbing issues. I’ll have to have my shower redone soon. When we tried to have a Jon out to correct a few things, he ended up putting a dent in our bathroom wall. When I shared frustration and concerns towards the end of the remodel, Jon texted us and told me that I was entitled. It was truly a very disappointing experience.
