So happy with my lighting purchase. I bought 3 fixtures that are gorgeous and unique. And very reasonably priced. Service was exceptional. One item was a special order..received it in 5 days. I will be back and I highly recommend Gem.

The parts department was great—knowledgeable and friendly. I know nothing about lamps and was looking for particular parts with no idea of what I needed, but was given quick service with good explanations of each part and its function. Would recommend a stop in!

If I can give it, zero stars, I would. I walked in there with the intention to buy a chandelier. My wife has been asking me for. I walked in, took a look at it as the lady working at the counter politely if I can touch it she strictly said no. I told her I would like to buy it so can I please touch it to feel the material and quality since it was priced at $3000. She said you could touch it at your house. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or something but that’s not how you speak to people. Extremely rude. Unprofessional. And they lost my business. Shop elsewhere.

Stopped by and did not have a sample bulb I thought I had but did not my fault. I was the only customer in the store and asked the parts guys(2) where to get a bulb they said here and need a sample to get right bulb. Understandable. With no one there I thought we could check a few bulbs and I could pick out the right bulb. Nope. Need a sample. Went to the store part and asked the lady who was checking her personal phone. I calmly said I thought I would have gotten better help from the parts guys She suggested a bulb but couldn’t get a good picture so I looked around. She bee lined to the back to tell the guys and 1 came out with an attitude. Whatever happened to customer service? He finally actually showed me a few lights and we easily concluded it was close but not an exact match. Why couldn’t we have done that when I first came in? I have bought many lights from them as well my family growing up. I would have to take my business elsewhere If there were more people in the store I would totally understand not having the time to deal with me but there were 3 employees and I was the only one in the store. Hopefully future customers will have a better experience.

Nice friendly staff and beautiful showtoom however items sold are very pricey. I had to buy a chandelier became I was pushed for time since my contractor was already in my home for the install of a chandelier I’d already purchased only just to find out when they opened the box from Amazon a part was missing

Needless to say, the folks up at Gem Electric company are the best around. Anything electrical, they have it. Everyone that works there is extremely qualified and can answer any questions you might have or even just give you great advice. I would not go to a big box store when you have electrical needs. This place has it all!
