I have used Schmidt Electric several times and I am very happy with them. They are on time, do a great job, and I believe their prices are fair.

My experience: I asked them to arrive after 8:30 am they came at 7 am, not good right off the bat. They did the work, had two home office data and telephone connections set up. In the end I was charged about double what was initially estimated. Two guys came in and did the work, they had to leave to get parts, came back did the work. It works good for my office, the other office where my wife works, the jacks did not work. They left no invoice or receipt so I had to go into my bank records to get their name, called them up and told the owner the problem. He said I’ll check on it in the morning. He never got back to me, I emailed them 10 days later. One week after that still no response. There is still no direct connection in my wife’s office. The business owner did get back to me, and came and fixed all of my issues. The guys who came in were friendly and helpful. Happy we could conclude positively.

Schmit Electric LLC did an excellent job wiring a high capacity outlet to my garage. They were very helpful, friendly, and took the time to explain what we were doing while answering any questions I had for them. I found most electricians are difficult to schedule around the Fox Valley area but I am very pleased with the work performed.

Called them for rv inverter charger help. Sure we can do that how’s Friday? Friday is fine I’ll be here. No call back as to when they’d be here. Called them early afternoon on Friday, sure we’ll be right there. The guy shows up with not even a screwdriver. Says I have to see the schematic. If I had a schematic I wouldn’t need an electrician. The guy got huffy with me when I commented about them wasting half of my day waiting around for them. He said I didn’t make you do that and drove off. Guess my money wasn’t worth their trouble.
