There’s not enough space or time for me to say all the good things I could about the team from Ace that repaired my deck. Rob and his crew were top flight in every regard. They not only did an awesome job, they went beyond the call of duty in making sure everything was top notch. Steve Lyon, the owner of Ace, has great people working for him and they’ll do a great job for you.

There are so many projects around the house that need to get done. You dwell on them, you try to figure out what needs to get done first and what you can even afford. Once you finally decide to pull the trigger and let go of money you worked so hard to get, it’s time to find someone you can trust in a sea of google listings and neighbor horror-stories about terrible experiences and work left undone. We decided that the driveway was the our first major project because it was terrible. It took me and my wife months to pull the trigger, so this was important to us. First quote I got was too expensive. Then I asked one of my neighbors about someone and he suggested Steve here at Ace. Steve gave me a quote over the phone for the cost and it was over $1,000 cheaper than the quote I received from another company. That was just enough for us to say “let’s do it”. The cement crew came in within a week and started taking up my driveway. Then my new driveway was finished a few days after that. Not only did the cement crew do what we talked about, they suggest we extend the concrete pad to the back where my trash cans and side garage door were. I told them it was a great idea but could not afford it….yall, they just did it anyway…for FREE!! I was astounded. These people genuinely care about you and your home. The crew took care not to mess my wife’s flowers up in the garden, and they fixed all the dirt around my new driveway. To recap, job was quoted over a thousand dollars cheaper, they added an extra concrete pad (pretty large) to make my house look even better (for free), the crew was super nice, and they cleaned up everything after they were done. How can I use anyone else now? I won’t. If you are not wealthy like me, and you need a contractor for your entire home, Steve is the guy and this is your company. Not once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Communication was amazing and quality of work was wonderful. 20 stars. He also replaced our gutters for an awesome price. Call them today!!! Ace Home Improvements just finished our stairway and deck/ balcony. I was impressed by the quality of the job, exceptional! They kept me informed during the whole process and gave me options. They know what they are doing. They are professionals. I am going to use them again on our next project coming up!!

Ace Home Improvements just completed an extensive column/rail replacement on our very sizeable wrap-around porch. I like to think of our house as ‘the grand lady’ of the neighborhood, of which the porch is one of its main features. Well, Ace took very good care of us including sending their best carpentry ‘artisan’ Mark. From cost to quality, Ace Home Improvement is first of class. Good work Steve, Mark, and Luke! Exterior door replaced by a very professional and knowledgeable craftsman. Had some rotten wood discovered underneath during the install that was expertly repaired. I appreciate the extra effort that went into completing this job. Special thanks to Cameron for a job well done.

We needed some framing & siding work done on our house. A lot of times with GCs there’s usually ego involved, but the guys at ACE were extremely down to earth, fairly priced, didn’t try to overwhelm you with how much they knew, and did a fantastic job. They communicated great every step of the way and were very honest. I’m glad companies like this exist.

I truly appreciate their timeliness, professionalism, and the overall quality of their work. They completed my siding project on schedule, and they were entirely self sufficient. The crew was also surprising quiet while working which is impressive considering the job involved hammers, I barely heard them while they were here. The crew was courteous and professional, answering all my questions and requests patiently and did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was complete. This project required some flexibility considering they were picking up halfway through an already started project, but they were very accommodating and willing to work with me. I highly recommend Ace for any siding installation project. Steve and his crew will get it done.

Steve got us set-up with the design we needed very quickly and a very good estimate, we pulled the trigger. The crew leader Rob called me, we discussed particulars, when I stated our deck project was pretty simple and should be easy. He said that they treat all projects the same, it makes the initial on-site planning the same step by step. The process moved forward very quickly, Rob communicated with me multiple times daily letting me know where they were and how things were moving. Rob also made sure to ask if I had any questions. He & his team worked very well together, you could tell they were experienced together. I recommend Ace for any deck jobs, from my simple wood deck up through the massive composite McMansion style decks.
