I reached out last fall about a partial addition off the back of my house. We were looking to create a covered porch for a grill area and seating area and to also add a room. We have had a couple contractors in the past for an addition but lost faith in contractors as a result of working with them. Working with Scott (Sales Rep) and Chris (Contractor) my faith has been restored. They quoted and built exactly what we were asking. Every aspect of working with them was easier than previous contractors. Scott came out and measured everything, listened to what was being asked, and anytime he had a question or wasn’t 100% on a detail he either contacted me and we handled it over the phone, email, or if needed he would stop by and look at it. This made the quoting process accurate. We had a slight delay at the beginning which was not their fault. Materials delivery was delayed by a couple of days due to weather. So instead of starting framing late in the week they started the beginning of the following week. Not only was I informed of the original schedule but Scott reached out to let me know about the delay. This small thing was never done with previous contractors and they were delayed by weeks or months. Once work started Scott would come by and go over the details with the crew lead to make sure they were understanding what the scope of work was before they started. Again a small detail that was never done with previous contractors. We had a couple of small edits to the plans as the process went along and with Scott there we all stayed on the same page. Once seeing the concrete pad I could envision exactly where I wanted the windows to go, so we changed that on one wall. Once the framing was up with the posts I was able to envision how I wanted my grill area to be set up. I added a half wall myself and Scott made the change with the siding crew to add siding to this area while doing the rest. Each crew that came out exceeded my expectations. I was informed when they would be there and they came out on those days. The work performed was what was asked and in a couple cases more than asked. The roofing went all the way to the vent because the roofer didn’t like the original break. (original shingles were 20 years old and he felt more comfortable going all the way to the vent so it wouldn’t have to be removed later. I added a half wall for my grill area and the siding crew sided and flashed this while they were out. The gutter guy added the extra downspout that was trimmed to discharge the water further from the house. Each crew cleaned up daily. This included sweeping and removing waste from the space. At the end of the project Delaney’s sent out guys to walk through for a final cleaning of the area. They walked around the yard picking up any nails that were missed in the grass or sand and made sure everything was in the dumpster before it was removed. Even inspections were easier with this contractor. The inspector seemed familiar with Chris’s work and would contact him if anything needed to be addressed. The only thing I remember was a request to tie the original foundation to the new foundation with re bar. This was done the same day, verified for the inspector, and the pour remained on schedule. The only major issue was with the county and was not the fault of the contractor. I needed to pull a new permit for finish work and found out the county didn’t actually close Chris’s permit although he was informed through his portal with the county that everything was complete and passed inspection. The county wanted a foundation survey. I reached out to Chris and Scott and they got me on the schedule for a survey. The survey was done, and submitted to the county. I have been working on the finish work as money allows by choice. The previous contractor I had to finish the work because they would not. Working after the different contractors is night and day. It is so much easier to finish the work done by Chris. The walls and floor are straight, flat, and square. I would highly recommend Delaney’s.

We had an addition and additional garage bay done. Chris and West were great to work with. They were responsive and attentive. They worked hard to keep the project moving along and take pride in hitting their timelines. I would highly recommend them.

Received an estimate for a minor repair to my home and the quote was outrageously overpriced. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me because I’m a woman or maybe they overcharge everyone, not sure. :/ I saved $7K by going with someone else.

They did a wonderful job on our new deck and concrete patio below. The job started on time – early, actually- communication was consistent and expectations clear. We talked to a few contractors about this job before we were referred to Chris and the outcomes were so disappointing that we were a little nervous about moving forward at all. We are 1000% HAPPY ! We have a long story but it comes down to Chris being willing to take on a job that was left in shambles and getting his best guy, Tim to make this magic happen. My husband and I wanted the brochure picture of composite decking in our backyard- following a lot of research we were not very hopeful in it being delivered until we met them !
