Thank you for the excellent work and customer service. If I could give 10 star appreciation, the Bergen’s Company would receive it. Starting with the owner and the team workers assisting Andres. I had a water coming into my foyer and two other companies replace the wood. I continued to have the same problem. The Bergen’s team located the problem, the owner contacted me, show me pictures. Thank you for doing the work others did not. I am so grateful that I found a company who takes pride in their work, outstanding. If you want a honest, hard working company, Bergen’s is the best choice.

I have hired Pete several times and he always comes through for me. He is a great communicator and always does what he says he’s going to do. He and his team do great work for a decent price. I will definitely hire him again hopefully before he retires.

Pete Bergen is the best, most trustworthy contractor you can choose for any home repairs. He is a great guy that truly cares about the quality of his work and providing a good value. We have used him for two large projects and couldn’t be more thrilled with the result. Bergen Repair did an outstanding job of repairing Hardiboard porch siding that was not correctly installed. The guys showed up, understood what needed to be done, verified what I wanted to be done, and finished the entire job in 2 hours. They had the experience, tools, and confidence that I see lacking in a lot of contractors today. No creativity, confusion, or lack of decision making. I’m so confident in this company, I asked to hand out their business cards to neighbors. We are all going to have repairs sooner or later…Pete and his crew have this down. It’s nice to trust someone to carry the ball over the finish line, especially when you don’t understand the game (construction).

Had siding on total exterior replaced and repainted last summer. They also replaced and repaired rotted trim pieces. Pete always stayed in touch throughout the project. The people who actually did the work were excellent! I love the way it turned out and the price ended up being reasonable and in line with the estimate. Sorry I took so long to post.

Spoke with him over the phone and shared a email said he’d get back with me. Never replied? Though this rating isn’t a reflection of his work it could be 5* worthy???????

I called in on 1/27/20 to schedule an appointment for an estimate for a job I need completed. Pete came out the very next day at the time scheduled which was perfect, he advised that I would receive my estimate via email within a day or 2. Since I never received the estimate I called in on 2/7, office rep stated that he see’s contract but no estimate and owner was on vacation and no eta. As of today 2/14, I still have no estimate. Very disappointing, as I read wonderful reviews and wanted to give them a try.

Our exterior trim and Chinese chippendale porch railings had deteriorated from weathering and inferior workmanship of other contractors. We held Bergen to a very high standard and they exceeded it! The restoration was flawless because of very skilled carpenters, the appropriate selection of materials and a crew who held the schedule. As for quality control, Pete Bergen holds daily work progress meetings with his team before they come to the house. Decisions are made in real time using quick calls to review photos and give feedback. I think the company is a hidden gem in South Charlotte.

Pete and the team did a great job. We had them do both internal and external carpentry and painting work. Very professional. Completely satisified.
