We just recently had a kitchen renovation done by Oz. To be fair they are a bit more expensive than other contractors that we had priced, and were a bit pricey on some of the extra things we wanted done. But with that said, they did an excellent job and we are very pleased how our kitchen turned out. The GC on the job was Mike and he was always available if I needed to reach him. The on site supervisor was Jose, who treated our job as if it was his own home. The job was completed on time, if not even a bit early. They cleaned up the area every single day before they left and would have taken down and replaced the plastic barrier between the work area and the rest of my house everyday had I not told them it wasn’t necessary. We also liked that we were able to work with their designer Lori on many occasions to pick out and color match different aspects of our kitchen. She was awesome. We would use them again.

From start to finish and beyond, Oz GC is truly a company that is always reliable. I am writing this review years after having two kitchens, a master bathroom, relocation of laundry, a den and other smaller projects all completed with Oz’s assistance across two different homes. This review is to recognize Mike O., who is one of a kind. He cares about the quality of work and also that your repairs are completed in a timely fashion, even years after completion. Mike does not hesitate to either do a repair himself or he comes with a crew. When he says he’ll be there, he is. Oz is overall a reliable and quality company that delivers on all fronts.

We hired OZ General Contracting for a complete gut renovation of our basement. We could not be happier with the results. Mike, Uzi and their team were great. We had many unforeseen obstacles along the way and they handled it seamlessly. They made sure the job was not complete until it was exactly how we wanted. Our new basement is beautiful. We are about to start a new renovation of our master suite and OZ was our first call. Uzi came in listened to our needs and gave us options we did not even think of. We can not wait to get started on the project.

We hired Oz General Contracting to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms and had an excellent experience throughout. Lori, the Design Consultant was excellent. She walked us through every step of the design process and was always very conscious of our budget. She also offered great suggestions and advice. Oz possesses superb workmanship and uses quality materials. Our Project Manager, Mike, was onsite at some point every day. Mike was very responsive to questions, concerns, and any problems that arose, including adjustments even after the job was finished. All debris was removed the same day without needing a dumpster outside our house. We also liked the fact that the length and timing of the project was true to what was planned. Oz treated our house like it was their own and we highly recommend them.

The best vendor I have ever used for anything, ever. This is a team of EXPERTS. They know their craft inside and out, and through every step of their operation. I wish I could organize my life the way Lori designed my bathroom. The process was so efficient. Their wait times are long because they’re so good, so do plan ahead! Once my slot game up- boom- they gave me a beautiful bathroom in exactly one week. I have a demanding full time job and family, so I have zero time for problems and fuss. The team was entirely independent and they worked hard and got it done in literally five days, soup to nuts! The bathroom is beautiful. Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Already recommended them for another family member’s bathroom and will continue to recommend to others. I’ll save up over the next several years so that I can do my kitchen with them. The absolute best service for your home reno, trust me. Also, Milca literally deserves a diamond crown and a robe!!!

My family has had a long standing relationship with Oz for the last 15 years so there really was no question about who we would use when it came time to choose a contractor to dormer my upstairs and gut my first floor. Uzi, the owner, is personable, knowledgeable and will treat you like family. He is a talented craftsman and will help you design your dream home beyond anything you’ve ever imagined. Milca and Harriet are so organized and easy to work with in regards to payments, permits or any questions you may have along the way. Lori, is top notch. She sat with me for hours over the course of several months to design and finalize every little detail of our house. I would have been incredibly overwhelmed without her expertise. Her talent is unmatched! Mike was our project manager and Sergio and his crew worked on our house from beginning to end. I cannot say enough good things about this team. They are knowledgeable, meticulous, and are true talented craftsman. They worked tirelessly on my house for 4 months and we could not be happier. If you’re shopping around for contractors, you will definitely be thrilled with Oz!

EXCELLENT ! Recently had compete bathroom and kitchen remodeled plus wall/ceiling crowning throughout. Amazing clean and detailed work including debris removal. Top of the line craftmanship and materials. OZ in-house design staff and one-stop shopping (cabinets , tiles , ceramic ware etc.,) is truly a value added asset. Mike and his staff were always on schedule. After completion follow-up by Mike was professional, courteous and very much appreciated! EFR Cedarhurst, NY October 2023
