We worked with Ben to replace a leaky shower stall with a tub and tile surround, as well as re-tiling the bathroom floor. It was great working with Ben. His communication is timely and professional; he explained the progress of the job and upcoming steps as he went along; he gave extra consideration and effort to deal with the quirks of our space so we could make best use of it; he’s interested in learning and implementing the latest best practices of his trades; and ultimately he actually cares that the job turns out right and properly done. Certainly the best experience I’ve had with a contractor and he will definitely be the first person I call when we have projects in the future.

Ben has been absolutely great. We worked with him to turn a utility closet into a pantry, and his work is top notch. Before and after photos are included here. We’ve got other projects lined up with him this year. We have total confidence in him. Also, he’s a pleasure to have in the house – he’s a kind, interesting guy and has even taken care to do loud work only when our baby isn’t napping. Plus, his prices are reasonable. We highly recommend working with him, clearly!

We had a great experience working with Ben of GS Builders. Ben did a complete renovation of our bathroom. He installed new bathtub, toilet and vanity. He tiled walls around shower, installed new trim and painted walls, trim and doors. He did a beautiful job tiling the walls and the result was just what I was hoping for. He was patient with us in the beginning when we were deciding on what products to choose. Once he got started he completed just when he said he would – but he did not rush at anything. I can tell he is a craftsman and he is very professional in his work.

Ben was fantastic from the beginning of my project until the end. His cooperation to coordinate timing for the project was great and he was able to handle issues (that always occur in remodeling projects) with grace – which really impressed me. He possesses excellent workmanship and a willingness to do the right thing. He was also patient and communicated well throughout the entire renovation. I’ll certainly be working with him again on other projects. Thanks Ben! We love our new bathroom and highly recommend GS Builders!

I’ve had to let go of few contractors before I found GS Builders, and I was very pleased. GS Builders installed my Ikea cabinets, along with everything needed to complete the kitchen! Ben has a strong work ethic, even when tired he kept the high quality of work. He has strong attention to details, which reduced my stress a lot. He’s skilled, efficient, experienced and very personable. I would definitely hire and recommend him.

Ben shows attention to detail, takes pride in his work, is a true craftsman, enjoys creativity (and music), never overcharges for time. His price is probably too good. On top of all of that, he is warm and personable. You will have a new friend when his work is done. On a five-star scale, I’d give Ben a ten. A treasure indeed.

We worked with Ben in updating and renovating our home, which including painting, lighting, kitchen remodeling, and many other cosmetic repairs. Throughout the process, Ben kept us updated and was very easy to work with. Our home also had a few unexpected complications but Ben was always patient and gave great advice, keeping in mind our budget and what he thought our needs may be in the future. After the project was completed, Ben continued to communicate with us, offering advice and has come back a few times for additional repairs. His partner, Melody, also gave some good design tips. We look forward to working with Ben again and would happily recommend him.

Ben recently completed a total renovation of our bathroom and we couldn’t be happier with his work. It now looks like a spa, which is especially impressive for a bathroom in a 130 year old triple decker, and compared to what it looked like prior to the renovation. He is meticulous in his craftsmanship and I have never encountered a more reliable contractor. His pricing is very fair, especially in light of the enormous amount of effort he puts into his work. The only problem is that now our bathroom looks so much better than the rest of our home that I can’t stop thinking of othet projects that id like to have him do eventually! I would definitely recommend hiring GS Builders for any renovation project within your home.

I had several projects done on my property by this company. The owner Ben was extremely professional, paid attention to detail, meticulous, on time and flexible with any changes, he is trust worthy and I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking to have work done on their home. He did a wonderful job implementing my designs on 2 bathrooms and the front of my house.I know I will hire him again for any other work I may have done in the future. I love the way my house turned out.
