Wright Builders, Inc. 11 months agoI have thought a long time about whether to write a review and were I to write one, what I would say. It’s come to the point where I think it’s a disservice not to write a review. I engaged this company roughly a year ago to do a quite extensive renovation on an older home and while that relationship started out positively, I cannot possibly recommend this company. The work has been beset by sloppy mistakes from the first week of work that left me still with an unfinished home seven months into what was supposed to have been a four month process (by their account) and 4+ months after I have moved in. They have made errors that they never should’ve made, that they failed to catch (among others they did not notice, which were far too many) and then, in fixing or attempting to fix these errors, have not resolved the issue. In some cases, the work has been sloppy and inferior. Part of the reason was insufficient oversight of the subs and not enough attention to detail. I moved into a house where some of the appliances were not installed properly, where the floors were not finished properly, where the plaster and paint subs cut corners and now that work needs to be redone, and where work that should’ve been completed had not been. Far too often I have caught these errors. They have also included errors with billing. The amount of time and energy it has taken me to not only look over their work, which is an absolute necessity, but also to look over their billing practices has been significant. They may (or may not) be capable of running an efficient and high-quality renovation, but there is no doubt that they majorly messed up on my project in multiple ways and have admitted as much. I have had several frank conversations and after each there are promises of improvement, but the improvements have been too far and too few to change my view of the company. I have since spoken to a few others with similar experiences, which I wish I had known before engaging them, hence the review.

Haydenville Woodworking & Design, Inc. 5 months agoHaydenville Woodworking and Design did a beautiful renovation of our upstairs bathroom. The team was great with communication, pre planning, implementation and design support. They also did a great job completing a few additional small repairs around the house. We would definitely use them again.
