We used Bailey Design + Build for our kitchen addition and remodel at the beginning of the year. We have been in our 1600sq ft cape cod in Crescent Hill/St Matthews for 15 years and love the area but the house was slowly shrinking and no longer meeting our family needs. We were hopeful to get a little bit more square feet and have a kitchen that could host small gatherings while keeping to the design and architectural aesthetic of our 1940’s home. From the first consultation with Brandon, through the design meetings with Amy, through the demo and construction with Wes, and then walking into the final product, we were wow’ed! I admit to being easily overwhelmed by choices, but Brandon and Amy did an amazing job of learning who we were and our needs, and presented us with only a few choices at a time to eventually reach a design plan we loved. I’m sure everyone at Bailey Design + Build is amazing, but we think we got the dream team! Brandon, Wes, and John all went above and beyond to make this process smooth and, dare I say, enjoyable. They were more than helpful and understanding when questions arose and made special requests happen or explained why they wouldn’t be a good option for us. Everything was finished on time and as explained. Our neighbors were impressed with the cleanliness and quietness of the crews, and the house was spotless when the project wrapped up. We now have so much more than a larger kitchen. We now have a home where we were immediately able to host an entire extended family for a week, host Easter, and host Mother’s and Father’s Days with plenty of room. And the comments on the quality of work are non stop. Visitors can’t tell where the old home stopped and the addition begins because it flows so well. This small project for Bailey Design and Build has been huge for us, allowed us the opportunity of many more years of making memories in our beloved home. We can’t thank the team enough and have been recommending them to everyone we talk to. The experience was so great we are already dreaming of the next project.

Bailey Design has done two major home projects for me over the last four years: my master bedroom and bathroom and most recently my kitchen and other small projects. I love my new spaces and enjoyed working with the Bailey crew. All was completed on time(actually a week early) and beautifully done!

Our project was completed on time (a little early even) and within budget, and the quality of work is outstanding. Bailey Design and Build has been great to work with from the beginning to the end of our project. We wanted to open up our living space and they really listened to our ideas and wants for the space and brought them to life in their design. Our project was scheduled to take 12 weeks and finished right on time which was very important to us. Erik our project manager was amazing! He kept us updated daily with the progress being made. As with any house projects there were a few hiccups along the way, but they were easily resolved together. I am thrilled with the new design of our home and opening up our space. I would highly recommend Bailey Design and Build both for the ease of working together and their ability to finish on time.

By Bailey Design and Build scale, I believe we had a smaller renovation. Kathryn was our first contact and guided us through the design process and options while staying within our budget. Wilson, our Project Manager was easily available and overcommunicated so we knew what was happening daily and what was to come the following day. We are beyond thrilled with the results of the remodel of our primary bath, closet, laundry and office nook and would definitely recommend Bailey for any design and build project.

Home renovation horror stories abound, but the team ensured this process was seamless, straightforward, and truly enjoyable. Our friends and family were amazed to hear our home was ready a week ahead of schedule. From our initial meeting to our final day, we were met with professionalism, encouragement, and clear communication. The team’s dedication to our project exceeded our expectations and we were continuously impressed with their experience, creativity, and outline of the entire renovation process end to end. We recently had a room addition completed by Bailey Design + Build. It was a sterling performance by a construction company. Brandon Bailey outlined the project details at the beginning noting what was to be done and when and a completion date listed. The project was completed several days ahead of schedule, a miracle considering the work began on January 2,2024, and ran through February. We had some really bad weather in that time period. Project Manager Tom McClanahan was the miracle worker. He kept everything and everyone moving along, saw to all of the little details, and made sure everything was done as it should have been. He was a delight to work with and he became a part of our family in the process. All of the subs worked diligently, knew what they were doing and did it well. Bailey Design was very thorough in every aspect of the project, from architectural design to construction process to answering our questions. We had a very positive experience with Bailey.

We stumbled onto Bailey’s Design and Build kind of last minute for a full deck and back porch replacement project. Brandon and his team spent several hours with us at their office leveraging their technology platforms designing and displaying our desired end state remodel. This included presentation of the latest building materials and techniques. From there, Bailey presented a fully loaded GANTT project plan that clearly set expectations for the project. Every day there was notable progress, supported by frequent communication from the onsite project manager. Every day before leaving the site, the full site was cleaned up and cleared of any debris on or around the site. As issues with procurement and sus arose, they were swiftly mitigated and did not affect the timeline or progress. The end product is amazingly beautiful; exactly what we wanted; completed on time and when the final landscaping is complete; I will provide the visuals. This is the most professional organization I have ever dealt with in my many years or new home construction, remodeling and building services of any kind. I highly recommend Brandon and his team.

Bailey Build and Design did a great job on our recent home project. Some of the finer points to note are as follows: detail oriented, efficient, professional, scheduled, proactive just to list a few. Erik was our project manager and he exceed our expectations and more. He was very communicative throughout our 6 week project and made sure that everything was happening according to plan. Any big project will encounter unexpected issues, but he was quick to find solutions and move the project along. We highly recommend Bailey Build and Design for your home projects. We look forward to working with them again in the future!

I have worked with Bailey Design + Build for a number of years. They are always very professional . I can’t mention the entire team but Brandon, Katharine, Amy, Jesse are all fantastic. All their project managers are top shelf as well. You can’t go wrong working with them for an elevated experience in my opinion.
