It was time for our 29+ year old deck to be replaced. We had our old wood deck, railing, and screens removed and Trex planking and railing installed. Westbury Screenrails provide an updated replacement for the wood screen doors that were used to screen the lower deck. The ten day project started day after Labor Day and finished on schedule Monday September 18th. The workmanship was excellent. Ben and the project team were very pleasant and professional.

I’d highly recommend Central Iowa Solutions. Ben was efficient and an excellent communicator. He answered endless questions and provided guidance with professionalism and friendliness. He addressed problems that popped up and found excellent solutions. It seems something unexpected always happens in construction— in our case, Ben navigated replacing rotten OSB boards, coordinated unplanned insulation, and addressed delays. He was conscientious and very thorough— making sure we were completely satisfied with every last detail. The whole crew and the quality of work was top-notch. They went beyond our highest expectations. I love our new siding and screened-in porch addition. It looks even better than I imagined. I look forward to working with Central Iowa Solutions again for future home projects.

Just wanted to share with everyone our experience with Ben Wiese and Central Iowa Solutions. We originally had contacted them last fall about having metal railings put on our existing deck. He came out, and during our discussions I mentioned we weren’t all that happy with the entire deck. He examined the deck pointing out the areas of concern, and throughly explained what would need to be done, the materials they would use, and the construction techniques that would be employed. We were impressed with his depth of knowledge and asked for a bid on a complete rebuild. (He did tell us that they wouldn’t be able to do the work until spring because they were already booked up through the rest of the fall). The bid came in lower than I was expecting and we signed the contract. Construction began the middle of April and progressed well despite the lousy spring weather we had. His well trained crew did an excellent job and Ben was out daily to inspect what was done and plan for the next day. I highly recommend talking with Ben at Central Iowa Solutions if you are planning any deck work!

I have previously used Central Iowa Solutions for a deck/screened porch project. Both the deck and patio projects were competitively priced and completed in a prompt and professional manner. Ben, one of the owners, closely monitored both projects, and was always available to answer what few questions and concerns I had. I would readily recommend Central Iowa Solutions for any home remodel project.

We used Central Iowa Solutions to build a large composite deck replacing a smaller wood one. The work and pricing were excellent. Ben and his team kept the worksite very clean and it’s built very solid. All they workers were very friendly and professional. We have received many compliments on it. We were so happy with the work they did on the deck, we inquired about some inside remodeling and ended up doing a bathroom and kitchen remodel as well as adding some custom built lockers. Again the work was excellent and the bid very competitive. Dave and his crew had many great ideas, and stood by the quality of their work even after the job was completed.
