Doug and his team did an awesome job on a complete remodel of our main living floor last spring. The work has held up very well and every day we’re grateful for our “new” home. Completely remodeled bathrooms, kitchen, replaced all flooring, knocked out walls, removed popcorn ceiling, added ceiling lights all over, replaced all doors, and custom built a new code-compliant stair railing, all within a hard three-month deadline. His entire team and subcontractors are well-seasoned pros and were a pleasure to work with. Doug spent significant time helping us with some design ideas and overcoming small problems along the way. His and his team’s experience really benefited us in the million little decisions needed on a major remodel. There were a couple of things that weren’t perfect. Doug wasn’t on-site as often as I’d like. There were a few times that I caught something done incorrectly (or not done) because I was around when Doug wasn’t. Not a major problem, but worth mentioning (and easily dealt with by adding a contract clause if desired). Secondly, our experience with the painters was pretty dreadful. Doug warned us that could be the case (I won’t go into why), but in the end he was able to get them to complete the work properly and made sure results were as promised. If I had another project for them, I’d consider hiring my own painters. But considering the scope of the project, we were still very pleased with the overall results and experience. We would definitely hire them again.

Doug and his team did a 5-star job building an access ramp inside my 94-year-old friend’s garage. Excellent communication, precise and careful construction. I do not hesitate to recommend Dodd Construction!

We were lucky to find Doug and his team through a neighbor. Doug and his team, as well as his subcontractors did an excellent job on our Kitchen and Master Bath Renovation. Doug was great at fielding our barage of questions and addressing and solving problems as they came up. He was easy to communicate with and toss around ideas with. He is fair and sticks to his word. He even hires a cleaner to clean areas where work was done. A really nice touch. His team, Ryleigh, John and Alan that did the carpentry, cabinet install, baseboards and general contract work were excellent, with great attention to detail, were respectful and all around great guys. The tile work was done by Louie Contreras of Contreras Tile that Doug subcontracts with, and he did excellent work also. Plumber was good and electrical also. Doug managed the group of professionals well to get things done in a timely fashion and stick to timelines. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and master bath and highly recommend Doug and his team.

Doug and his team are amazing! I’m very satisfied with the work that they did very professionally and finished the job before due date and always left the job area clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Dodd Construction for your home remodeling and finishing projects. Doug and his crew were timely and respectful; and they did excellent, high quality work at a fair price. The group showed up when they said they would and completed the work (and craftsmanship) above our expectations.We finished a section of our basement, in an older home, and the space has been beautifully transformed into one that we love!

This company was suggested to me for a remodel in my home. Doug presented as not only professional, but also knowledgeable and reputable. Although there were a few hiccups, as there are with every construction project, he and his team were amazing. (The hiccups pertained to obtaining necessary supplies, not the crew) I’m thrilled with the level of expertise and efficiency. I will use them again and again as the need presents. I would highly recommend working with Doug and his team for any project you have on the horizon. He remodeled two complete floors of our tri-level home, to include moving walls, renovating 3 bathrooms, upgrading all the flooring, concrete repair, new concrete and significant electrical repair. Doug had great attention to detail and wonderful follow through. Whenever any issues arose, Doug worked with us to make it right and stood behind his work. Doug has a great team that is very skilled and works efficiently. Doug has great respect for the project timeline and manages the workload accordingly. The construction zone was always left clean and everyone was very respectful & easy to work with. Doug had a great eye throughout the project to help us fix underlying issues, offer solutions we hadn’t thought of, and was always conscious of our budget. We couldn’t be happier with how the project turned out. Doug will be our first call for any of our future needs, whatever they may be, because he handles it all!!

Dodd Construction remodeled our 1976 primary bath, and we couldn’t be happier with the process and outcome. Doug and his tradespeople were very detailed, professional and produce top notch work. Communication was great as any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Doug completed the project not only on time but on budget. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dodd Construction and will use on any future projects.

I could not recommend Doug and his team more. We had gotten burned by two separate contractors (and lost money with zero work being done) the year before, and were wary of moving forward with our renovation needs, but then my sister introduced us to Doug. He came out to write up a quote within a day of us contacting him (new patio, new pergola, new french door exit to patio, old door bricked up, new widow added), his quote was right in line with what we wanted to spend, and the work commenced almost immediately. Doug was in constant contact, and was extremely easy to get ahold of if questions came up. His team is extremely friendly, and very easy to talk to, ask questions, etc. We enjoyed the experience so much we’re now going to use him to do our kitchen remodel this summer. Not only is the work good, and on time, but when consulting on the work, he actively looks for ways to save you money, be flexible with your schedule, and get the work done right. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have found a contractor we can trust. Highly recommend.
