Ybarra Builders should consider people’s time and commit to not cold-calling homeowners on Saturday or Sunday. I understand the need for companies to work overtime to make ends meet, especially in the current economic climate. However, respecting personal time and not intruding on weekends is equally important. As a dedicated LAUSD teacher, I work overtime to meet my family’s needs during these challenging times. I also know there are and should be personal boundaries and rules to live by. It is not unreasonable for a company to refrain from cold calling on Saturday and Sunday, the days that most people are off from work. For many, Saturday is the Sabbath, the Lord’s Day, and Sunday is the Lord’s Day. When your landline phone rings/cell phone rings on Saturday or Sunday, naturally, one may think it is family or close friends. Telemarketers would respect your time, especially your time away from work and stress. I placed my family name and number on the do-not-call list in 2006. I do not know why someone from the Ybarra Builders Company would violate a consumer’s right to peace. I could not in good conscience employ such a company for any purpose, regardless of past reviews. I have been a homeowner three times, and I would not call the Ybarra company to repair any of my homes. It all comes down to moral principles. Period, let hard-working Americans have their days off without interruptions. Is that too much to ask for in 2024? The gentleman on the phone was extremely rude. Do you want someone with a poor work ethic at your home, your most valuable investment with poor ethics? I think not. Rude on the phone equals rude while working for you.

The individuals who worked on my house were friendly and conscientious. Ben was especially helpful in listening to what needed to happen, calling in the right experts to get it done, and helping problem solve when we encountered obstacles.

I recently had a bathroom remodeled by Ybarra. It turned out great ! As with any remodel project there’s always some issues, but Isaac handled the situation smoothly. All the communication was great and he never left me hanging when I had a question which is not always the case with contractors. I’m a happy customer.

If I could give them 0 stars then that would have been exactly what they would have gotten. What a waste of time for nothing. Young kid came to my house on a Tuesday to give me 2 quotes & thought something wasn’t right when he didn’t even take any measurements. Then he said that he’s done something similar so he already had the information he needed to do the quote. Told me that he would email me the quote on or by end of business day that Friday. What a lie that was! Then I tried calling him on his cell phone that I was on business card. No answer and left him a message. Still 3 weeks later and nothing. Then I even tried calling their offices all over the west coast. NOPE! Just rings, rings, and rings. DO NOT WASTET YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! 1ST IMPRESSION IS ALWAYS THE BEST!
